Does Fat Shark have a in-game reporting system?

Nah, you don’t get it, what that thing said in the voice was really nasty.

Censorship is not the answer to your personal problems.

I had someone absolutely berate me and another Ogryn because he kept dying and blamed it on me because “pickaxe is too slow and is for n00bs” lol. He kept using expletives, died several times, whilst me and the other Ogryn didn’t, then told us we should be clearing hordes and killing the monstrosities for him. Lol.

Oh and he wore an A.S.S. badge and kept calling me a n00b. Was quite funny.

I blocked him after that match and moved on. Ain’t got time for basement teenagers.

Not true at all. Most people will blindly jump on a bandwagon and unjustly call for someone’s demise. How would you like it if you were cancelled for something you said over a decade ago? I can guarantee you’ve said plenty.

Exactly, its just a game. You’ll encounter people having a bad day who will want to take it out on you. Its nothing personal. It doesn’t mean they should lose their right to play a game they paid for. Everyone goes on with their day.

I’m an adult. I don’t need to seek my mother’s approval for anything I say. That’s the problem with you people who think reporting is going to solve anything. “Mommy I don’t like what the mean guy said to me!”

Now it’s “toxic” to votekick a leecher/griefer/ruiner/etc and not waving the white flag and refusing to endure them till the end of the mission is a “skill issue”.

What a mad world we live in.

nobody care kids murmur, but it does break the gameplay enjoyment. And most of the arguments are useless. more unfortunately, Fatshark has no proper guidance, so that those players, like cheaters, toxic players…, can attack others with impunity.

Let me ask you something…

If tolerance is a virtue you champion (and it is just a game), why is it absent in the moments that provoke your insults? Is tolerance only expected of those being insulted? You speak of strength, yet overlook that some carry burdens (trauma, PTSD, or emotional sensitivity) that make certain language harmful, even abusive. Should such people be excluded from public spaces because they respond differently? Is that not the opposite of tolerance? And if maintaining a respectful environment leads to broader participation and a more successful product, would that not be the wiser course? If tolerance is what you advocate, why not practice it yourself? Or was that just for show?

Let me tell you something…

People tolerate a crying baby or a child throwing a tantrum on an airplane because its human nature. They don’t ban the child from ever flying again because it made everybody miserable. Nor do they dig up the past and say “This guy cried for 3 hours on a flight when he was 3 years old. He should never fly again.”

People who claim to be “tolerant” (most people in this forum) aren’t actually tolerant at all. They get people banned and silenced over nothing. My first post just got silenced because of you cry babies. There’s no need for further discussion. I have my opinion and you have yours, however nonsensical it may be. Carry on.

No one should have to put up with the abuse of randos to enjoy a game. This is a business for FS. You can’t walk into a McDonald’s and yell at someone for 20-30 minutes (even if it’s “not personal”) without management getting involved.

And people generally don’t get banned forever, and they never do with only one report. They get warnings, and if they keep being anti-social miserable gakheads they get increasing bans.

It is not OK to take out your bull**** on strangers. And no one should have to put up with that crap. Scream into a pillow, man. Talk to a therapist. We’re all paying customers. We shouldn’t have to put up with abuse to play a video game.

Yeah, I just had to block my first fellow Darktide Player today. I won’t be reporting him, but he abused me for “leaving him to die” because we got separated by a horde (after he ran off into some random corner instead of sticking with me) and I couldn’t get to him in time. I really did try to pick him back up, but he went down in such a stupid spot and I just couldn’t do it through the hordes of Specialists he’d accumulated from his silly gambit.

I’ve dealt with all of this stuff before, but the others of his ilk before him at least had the decency to rage-quit and then get replaced by a new Player. This guy didn’t and kept abusing me even as I was about to untie him, so I just opted to leave for him and then blocked his arse. He was a Zealot main, obviously. The usual suspects.

Yeah, I have fun with the game regardless of who I play with. That’s my point. You don’t have fun unless your conditions are met.

The Paradox of Intolerance has never been more relevant than it has since the last decade, don’t fall into the trap and don’t tolerate intolerance, push back.

The fact that this community flags my posts which aren’t even remotely offensive speaks volumes. I don’t even have to say anymore, you did it to yourselves.

Just out of curiosity, what exactly in this decade are you referring to?

I wouldn’t even bother. Mods, as per forum standard, would likely have to intervene and shut down things relating to politics and tense world events.

Also, I will just throw in though that ‘intolerance of intolerance’ is an insanely slipper slope with goalposts that are constantly moved and manipulated. The best counter to bad speech will always be more good speech.
