Balance the game

When is the last time we got any significant balance changes? A year ago with the talent tree rework? That update was the start of the ridiculous power “creep” (power steam roll, really) and ever since then, the game is too easy. Most recently, we got the crafting overhaul. This only turned the power steam roll into a power nuke. There are too many things to list, so I will not list every single thing that needs to be changed. In short, there’s nothing wrong at not playing auric. There are several difficulties under. I was playing regular damnation 2 months ago. And maybe after I will have completed all penances, I will again (but not sure after all these maelstrom missions I will be able).
Buffing everything won’t change the game. It will just push away the most dedicated players, the ones that pay for cosmetics, if things are too easy.
But players that have difficulties actually with the current higher difficulties can always pick a lower difficulty, and there’s nothing wrong on this. You will train and get better. I have more than 2500 hours on this game. I would have hated that, at 500 hours, I could play the higher difficulties (even if there were not here at this time as auric was introduced later).
You have time, and you can pick the challenge suited for your skills. It has not to be damnation, or auric. Pick what will bring you more entertainment.
