Please explain to me why Winds of Magic is considered an expansion and not a non-specific DLC?

We’re not getting any new characters and the “new” maps is one for beastman and a bunch of recycled tiny chunks of the existing maps from the base game.

I’d rather pay €55 for 13 new maps (with at least 3 new Lords), a new story, and a new hero.

Make it happen because the way Winds is going right now, I won’t be back unless there is actual content that’s worth money.

My 4 year old niece could rehash existing maps and call them weaves.

• New faction is a HUGE addition, it’s one of the main difference between game 1 & 2. I can’t urge enough that this addition change EVERYTHING you know about the game, alone.
• New difficulty and new levels are usually linked to the “expansion” keyword (see diablo for example).
• Releasing an expansion for 55 euros, would probably not sell well as the expansion would be far more expensive than the base game.
• “Rehashed” maps are remade graphic wise and provides a totally new experience. (which you can not like, that’s fine, but there was a lot of work on them)

Gotta agree with @EnragedFountain here, Shella you have threaten and said you would leave this game and never come back a thousand times. Having your own opinion and not liking/wanting to pay for WoM is fine, but these “I wIlL lEaVe ThIs GaMe” are getting annoying c:

And yeah about the whole expansion/DLC topic, I won’t dive in too much, but to the people believing expansion are supposed to bring as much content as the base game, you’re crazy. Expansion can bring as much content as the base game sure, but then I expect them to be the price of the game. And if WoM is seriously going out for 40€/$, then I’m pretty sure a lot of people will pass.

A whole new gamemode, a whole new faction (which was one of the main selling point of VT2, so even the beastmen alone could justify the term Expansion), plus weapons, new skills, and a new level and difficulty.

Besides, to close the debate… DLC means downloadable content. An expansion is by definition a DLC. And expansion simply means expand the base game, so even if they called their generic DLCs epxansion, I’d be fine with it. It’s just a name, I was bringing it out in the first place to show that maybe we won’t have WoM at the usual DLC price

Fatshark has offered you a full refund many times. You’ve been saying that you quit and won’t be back since summer 2018, yet here you are. Just take the refund and move on with your life. You are obviously extremely unhappy with the game and have been for over a year now.

On another note, that Minotaur looks amazing. Can’t wait to fight that bad boy. I remember during one of the streams they showed off how they make monsters. Tons of work goes into them

If we are to get a new Hero, I would like to see an Ice Witch or Ice Maiden added to the game. Haven’t you figured it out by now? They only offered me a refund as a smoke screen so people see them as the good guys.

Every single time I have contacted Hedge or Julia about the refund, they do not reply back to me.

You’ve yet to get in touch to make the request and we only lock your threads when they fall outside the constructive (as evidenced by the countless threads you have made that are well constructed and reasoned and remain open [even the negative ones])
