Just wanted to ask how’s everyone diamantine stash because mine keeps growing without anything to spend it on.
Ive seen a bunch of forum posts suggesting that an undisclosed amount of diamantine could be used to upgrade a weapon to red to either remove the blessing / ref limit or upgrade the weapon to max stats (or both if fatshark is feeling snazzy).
What is your guy’s suggestions and how likely is fatshark to see this and fix it?

Many suggestions have been posted from small changes like converting diamantine to plasteel or allowing us to spend them on rerolls or resets, to huge overhauls like getting rid of diamantine entirely, changing RNG at a fundamental level, and revamping how we get loot.
Fatshark has refused to even hint at any possibility they might change the crafting system, so I wouldn’t hold my breath.
Yeah you kind of come to terms with the fact that the crafting system is fundamentally flawed and they probably aren’t going to fix it.
There is literally an over 1000 post thread about how bad the crafting is in this game including people who have started fairly bluntly that they aren’t coming back unless crafting is fixed.
I don’t think the crafting aspect of the game will be fixed, changed, adjusted, or improved any time soon, despite it being the most common complaint about the game. Unfortunately, FS doesn’t seem to respond to it.
Best case scenario, they give us a materials exchange to turn Diamantine into Plasteel or let us spend Diamantine instead of Plasteel in crafting actions that we don’t have enough Plasteel for.
Worst case scenario, they just increase the Diamantine cost or put a Diamantine cost into all crafting actions.

Thanks #464. We have had many discussions to hope we could use this resource to actually mitigate the layers of RNG.
It’s weird isn’t it? Diamantine is clearly meant to be a premium resource. The adjective form of the word literally means “Diamond like or consisting of diamonds”. Sure isn’t treated that way by the crafting system though. It’s another game element that doesn’t make a lick of sense.
That’s why my head canon for crafting is just plastic and diamonds.
I have disgusting numbers of both because the bottleneck is always something worth spending it on. Also there was like the month and change of them not bothering to fix the fact that you literally could not discharge it in any way without like 90% re-appearing next log in. That’s what really turned it into a comical number.
But no one can no life the game enough to discharge millions for a single lottery ticket and have it be ruined, and then repeat. Even the darkti.de doesn’t work with new weapons, and the fact that they deleted the authentication ticket or whatever according to the guy who made it makes me doubtful he’ll continue with it. It’s like a service to the people who downloaded it when it was available and before it broke.
