Issue Description:
The “Devastating Strike” blessing currently available on Devil’s Claw swords, Chainsword and Cleavers doesn’t have increased effectiveness when using a higher tier of the blessing. Thus, tier 2,3 and 4 have exactly the same effect. The blessing will activate on a critical hit and stay active the same amount of time (a little less than a second) regardless of the tier level you have put on the weapon used
Steps to Reproduce:
Use weapons with different tiers of the “devastating strike” blessing and witness no benefit from having a higher tier one

Correct. In January, they patched it to be as it is now. Originally, it worked very similar to Brutal Momentum where a critical hit on an opponent would then allow a window of infinite cleave and the different tiers had longer windows. The problem as they saw it was that it did not affect the hit that procced it, so they changed every tier to affect only the critical swing.
Still they could have narrowed it down to a single T3 like Perfect Strike is or some such but if I had to guess, removing blessings on items that already exist might prove difficult so they just changed the effect and left the all the tiers.
So that’s just lazy coding… Makes sense then, it’s basically a 1 tier blessing now but with trice the chance of rolling it. Still, they could make the higher tiers last a little while longer, it’s not like those weapons are OP right now, they could really use a buff starting with this blessing
Well, IIRC the big problem with it opening a whole window was that a crit-bleed zealot could just maintain it up 100% of the time, especially with the shred blessing and, with crit cooldown reduction, he could just spam his ult almost non-stop.
Of course, a devil’s claw with shred + DS can STILL do that in a horde situation. Just spamming lights gets full recharge in about 3 seconds on average. Your crit chance can start at 10% and then fluctuates between 40% and 65%. And the very similar blessing Brutal Monetum can easily be kept up 100% on it’s own anyway. If you pair that with shred you can do something very similar.
I guess I don’t mind them changing the function of the blessing to make it more unique, but it would be more streamlined to only have a single level. This was also in the period where they were getting a lot of backlash so they might have decided to err on the side of generosity and leave all 4 levels in (making it MUCH easier to obtain) rather than edit it out of the game.
