plus it´s third person, so a “filler game” instead of a main dish for me.
but the artwork and style is down my alley and i´m stocked on smurf marine and tyranid mcfarlane figures, so second diorama inbound no matter what.

It’s honestly what I wish Darktide was. The combat is just the best and the art direction is more or less on par with Space Marine 2, while the latter definitely looks much more impressive given the density.
Such a shame really.

I think most of those Marketing folks are not working on Datktide now. Pre-release hype was there, but now its gone. It may very well be, that just one person left, trying to scramble anything.
okay, ficticious worst case scenario, one guy scurrying around, how hard is it to ask the design dudes for some artwork snippets to post in a daily schedule ?
i see people drawing fan artwork faster on reddit.
This strikes me as what always happens when creative endeavors succumb to complete corporatization. The organization no longer revolves around the act of creation but rather the corporate daily operation inertia where a bunch of people with completely abstract jobs and roles try and justify their paychecks without adding anything of value.

And yet it wouldn’t be an inaccurate statement. Your reaction to that sentiment is characteristically extreme. What would you hope to accomplish by saying what you said, assuming that person was saying what you originally thought they were saying?
