Dark Tide Twitter needs to stop Posting tweets that don't make sense

I feel bad for the gremlin they have locked in the basement dungeon spamming these low effort tweets because some exec completely detached from reality went social media engagement good.

And the fat shark’s information release is particularly slow, 6 to 7 days after the release of a tweet. Every tweet is meaningless garbage, and everyone asks where the new Fat Shark content is, but they never answer the players’ questions. I’m just disappointed and angry!

The tweets are just some poor intern they have chained up to drive engagement because an executive learnt social media engagement good

This poor intern and utterly out of touch exec are completely detached from the actual state of the game and community. Don’t expect actual meaningful community engagement from them.

These tweets kinda bum me out, even though I think it’s nice to recognize the artistic creations of community members. It just feels so archaic and so out of step with FS’s whole (non-)communication strategy.

Such a great strategy
Say you’re gonna post something by the end of the month then don’t and not say anything about when it’s ever coming.

Won’t get any argument on that from me. It’s a bummer!

In fairness, this is normal for Twitter. Nothing of value has ever come from that platform, and I’ve never seen someone’s Twitter postings and left with more respect for that person than before, not once.

That said, it’s shocking how the entire conversation around the game has descended to this level on just about every platform, be it Twitter, here, Reddit, or Discord. Conversations about builds, arguments over class balance, shrieks about enemy abilities, complaints over crafting, etc have bit the dust and it’s all about how the game feels abandoned and Helldivers now.

Darktide has credited C-suite and Director level Marketing & PR staff. None of them appear to be interested interested at all in managing the public perception or community conversations around their products however. They appear cool with all this, nobody at Fatshark seems to think its a problem.

I don’t think anyone at fatshark cares at least the dt team doesn’t, because I can be lazy but I’d be ashamed if I had a work ethic and failure to deliver like them.

Taking a 4 month break from doing or saying anything from their most recent game they’d said they’d support and then saying they’d post a dev blog by the end of the month and then not.

Is just par for the course for them, they don’t give a f and couldn’t give one that the community rips on them for being a hilariously pathetic company that can’t even manage posting text on time.

There’s apathetic and then there’s fatshark
