When Elon has took over Twitter, I have pushed the button delete my account.
When I have seen the new name of Twitter, it made mer laugh an entire day…
I actually use bluesky.
Honestly, Fatshark doesn’t know how to communicate. They should fire the heads of the department or the ones in charge of this point. They need to watch what all other successful games do.
Catfish is not even here… I suppose the lack of freedom pushed her to an other job. Anyways, she could not do anything.
oh yeah just so much vitriol, with all the players wondering whats going on. How dare people be confused by what Fatshark are doing, how very dare people get upset that we are in the dark about the future of the game.
Yeah, it’s cringe. I can’t believe they’re doing emoji teasing for a Warhammer playerbase. You know, the universe that mostly attracts males in their late 20s and 30s, because only then can you afford this hobby. Fatshark are so out of touch it’s unreal.
We’re getting Twitter emojis because Fatshark is run by people who seem to be operating under the delusion that Darktide is Incredibly Popular and that they can generate interest with something this banal.
Remember last year’s Skulls and how they talked themselves up for delivering mediocre patches and a few new maps?
That’s the mindset of Fatshark executives.
I sincerely wish for them to go bankrupt and for Arrowhead to absorb all the remaining talented people who worked there. Those people deserve better bosses.
Didn’t Arrowhead just get an ex-paradox guy as a CEO? I’d be careful what I wish for. Paradox is known for some of the worst MTX out there. You might get monkey pawed on that wish of yours.
Paradox, at least for the games I’ve played of theirs, has consistently delivered new content and largely bug-free experiences while also communicating regularly with the players and being mostly receptive to feedback.
So yeah I’d take Paradox and their 1000 DLC approach over Fatshark’s silence and MTX gouging.
I’m a Stellaris enjoyer. Some of their outsourced dlc messed with the game balance for months but other than that they’ve been consistent. Their comms are excellent too, even if some of the devs look openly terrified of talking to the camera.
Edit: while their community is in a good place they take no lip on their forum. Slag off their QA or their devs and you get deleted. Overall, that does seem better for the health of the community and makes the devs feel safe to communicate more often.
Skylines 2 could be blamed on that, it was developed not by Paradox itself.
Other GSG games though…
Well, let’s say the road had ups and downs, and wasn’t bugfree.
One thing that needs to be handed to them, is that they’re quite good at community management and all this dev dairy business.
It does seem like the entire darktide team has (voluntarily or not) dedicated themselves to working on these two updates they’ve teased (crafting being seemingly separate from the new map).
I don’t think any CM has been heard from on this forum for some time, whereas Vermintide CMs are active still.
