Wild take. Vermintide 2 has been going strong with a very small dedicated fan base. I simply do not see this happening.
I suggest waiting until may (thrones event) vermintide sometimes is 5 bucks, or cheaper! great buy. I Imagine Darktide will have some new content and maybe a discount around that time.

The game, if you adhere to it, starts AFTER the level 30.
In fact, from the level 1 to 30, I would advice a player to not even try to involve themselves with the crafting system and just use the same weaponā¦ this is what I did last time I created a character. It was a zealot and I played with same axe from level 3 or 4 to 30.
Actually, I started on gamepass and bought it on steam one week later.
I have only played it 2605 hours, so a cost of 0.015 ā¬ per hour.
you can point a lot of bad decisions from fatshark, you can even point that they succeeded to make the game population tiny instead of a popular game, but they did not leave this game.
They are slow on development, they are slow on balancingā¦ but they continue to develop the game.
And yes, the game has lost a lot of playersā¦ but letās face it, SM2 has lost 50% of its players in 8 days, HD2 is now at 50k so they have lost 400k players
So yes, with only 4.5k players, Darktide is not what it should have been. And mainly cause they have released the game at an open beta state. but it is not deadā¦

I donāt think they will shut down the servers for darktide so no need to worry about that.
Imo darktide has got something crucial that can be quite rare these days - replay abilityā¦ that makes it worth the money. But its your call, take it easy man : ) o/
and hopefully by the time truelevel shows them at >300 theres a tiny chance they gotten a grasp of what they should do in higher settings.
sadly certain players seem to think max ingame lvl is the end of the learning curve, when its only after having all skill points at their disposal and going through thorough practise that they can show if theyāre a worthy team member.

only thing you can do is ask some CM to copy your characters over, not sure if they do it anymore though
Crossplay and crosssave being standard to ALL games ever couldnt come sooner imo.
Im sick of having to have the same exact game on multiple platforms to play with different friends.
Is PC gamepass not just Microsoft Store, so you would buy the game there and keep playing normaly anyway without gamepass subscription?
Also my Xbox still tells me the game will leave on the 30th if I start it up, did we get some input from Fatshark on the situation by now?
Gamepass on xbox and Gamepass on the pc are technically different platforms that I think can always crossplay with each other but things like saves are separate. I might be wrong tho.
If you can do it for other games like DRG, idk why DT would be any different.
But i doubt anyone would do it anytime soon because why even expect to save progress on f%$#!@g Xbox Gamepass unless they pay that shi for their entire life.
