As the title suggest damage percentage value on the weapon and the overall damage it does on heavy and light attack does not tally. The combat knife on the left has a percentage damage value much lower but does higher damage then the combat knife on the right which has higher percentage on the damage value. Both combat knives were bought after the character was level 30. Both were bought from the normal shop(Armory exchange). And both were bought about 24 hours apart. Pls fix the combat blade on the right to do higher damage as I already have invested the currency into upgrading it. Thank you

Sorry for the confusion - this is because the one on the left has a much higher ‘first target’ stat, which boosts the damage against the first enemy hit in every attack (which means it doesn’t affect cleave). This First Target bonus is also shown in the damage calculations in the inspect menu.

Thank for clarifying. Where do I go to get these kind of information about damage calculations?

Inspect the weapon and hover mouse over the bars

Yeah no where does it say that first target percentage is a modifier which affects the final damage amount calculation lol? This makes it really misleading and confusing. Also may I know how long do I have to wait before the reroll blessing is released? Or maybe make the game spawn more lower tier crafting materials to loot rather then the higher tier so that I dont have to farm 2 or 3 damnation missions to try and upgrade one weapon from grey. If that is too hard then maybe drop the amount of lower crafting materials needed to upgrade items and increase the higher tier crafting material needed. While your at it maybe let us use the basic currency to refresh the shop(armory exchange) whenever. If not you’ll end up like what happens in the screen shot with regards to the “best” weapon I can get after playing this game for a month and how lopsided the crafting materials end up being.

Honestly its getting tiring.

Maybe, but have you ever considered buying Aquilas to use in the cosmetics shop? I hear it’s what the hip crowd does!

Maybe if they respected my time enough and released the game with whatever they said they would release it with and have some basic QOL features in place, i might consider paying extra for this game. Also why would they release bundles with weapon skins for dogshit weapons? Who even uses the hammer and the heavy sword in damnation for zealot. Maybe people in organized group run those but I play randoms mostly as most of my frens stopped playing cos they realized how much of a grind this game is and on top of that they kept crashing out of the game while having a top end pc.

Maybe so, but this isn’t CoD and crafting weapons does not fit the setting.

LOL i dont give a dam what u think fits the setting. It was a system that was advertised that will be on launch, the normal way loot drops is limited and it pretty obvious they intended for crafting to be the way ppl would get their end game gear(aka make ppl grind the game way longer then they have to) so it should have been in place

Licious was just making a joke. He’s quoting something Hedge said on here and the steam forums when people were asking about crafting. People have been taking the biss out of it but I see your account is new so it makes sense you wouldn’t know about it

Press [V] to inspect. Hover over the bars. Gives a full breakdown of what each bar affects.

It does prove my point quite succeedly if these off-handed, hamfisted comments provoke such a negative reaction in someone who does not know of their origin and their original context.

Yes i understand this, and i have read this before as well, but it does not mention that affects the final damage shown on the weapon itself. What i mean is for weapons which do not have first target as a stat, the only values affecting the final damage shown, atleast as far is I know is the damage %. So they should do something to make it clear that for weapons with first target as a stat, that it also affects the damage shown on the weapon. Not hidden in a separate page.

What origin and their original context are you talking about?

also just to add on to these if there can be a conversion vendor added where by we can covert the higher tier crafting currency into the lower tier one it would be much appreciated.

These are official statements from Fatshark as to why we won’t get the promised weapon customization or proper weapon crafting.

Urmm they did mention there will be proper weapon crafting, its even been datamined, and it is in the game files as of now. And there are so many videos on youtube about different types of weapon customizations which were promised like scopes, tact lights and the sorts which never ended up coming. Sorry have you even played this game before? Do you know many different types of builds ppl would wanna try out but they cant cos of the rng nature of how to acquire and augment weapons now? Not to mention how time consuming it is. The only reason they did this was to show a high play time or concurrent player count, which has already backfired cos a large portion of the player base already left. So instead of supporting their act of sabotaging their own game, there are alot of post like mine being made to highlight how “gatcha” this game is right now.

Yo is your name Hedge on the the reddit? Is this your own private account on the forums. I’m asking cos you used the almost the same line on reddit.

Lol its pretty funny if this guy the same person as Hedge, asking ppl to buy micro transactions when the game is in the state that its in. LOL.

Not from Fatshark and not in the game that’s for sure.
