The time into an overhead swing that a crusher can turn to still hit is pretty absurd. When they are 80% through their charge and can still turn 90 degrees to one shot is too much. Add to that distance scaling on stairs or uneven ground which is more than half of every map, it just gets old getting hit by something that is a dodge in every other case.
It’s made worse by that they don’t always seem to track, so it takes a while/is difficult to train yourself to dodge as late as possible (and way, way later than instinct would tell you to dodge).
They’re still tracking when the club is coming down. It feels very unintuitive.
They’re inconsistent.
I feel like horde enemies (specifically walkers and Bruisers) do this now as well… I’ve had instances of the backstab sound queue happening, I dodge in response, and I’m hit a second later. I’ve sat there and watched them swing at me-- seems to be the case that their windup is variable and their tracking is also just as inconsistent.
It also hurts a lot when enemies are stacking and attacking just slightly out of sync.
Yeah. Especially brutal when there’s just a bit of a lag spike.
