So I’m not seeing much complaining about stability on the forums so I’m starting to wonder if I’m just really unlucky here.
Since havoc released, I can’t play 2-3 havoc missions without a CTD. It always happens at either mission loading from lobby, leaving mission for lobby at the end, or clicking on “accept” when joining a party.
Before havoc, I maybe got 1 CTD every 10-15 missions (hard to quantify as I usually got them just using mourningstar features, especially hardon).
Before Hestia, I think I got maybe 3 ctd in total over hundreds of hours.
But yeah since havoc, it’s becoming muscle memory to click the send report button and reboot and pray I’m still connected to the squad.
Am I alone or are you all suffering extreme amounts of crashes since havoc?
I too have started having recurring memory crashes, though not as often as some. Seems to happen whenever, even in mourningstar menus where there’s not really anything going on.
A lot of times I will get to the end screen and be typing gg in the chat, only for the game to crash. Like it got through the entire mission, but the end screen is what the game can’t handle lol.
But yeah, I’ve definitely been crashing a lot more since havoc has been released.

I can’t recall the last time I crashed mid-mission.
Every single crash is either at the transitional point of loading into or out of something (eg joining a havoc party, loading a havoc mission, ending a mission, etc) or whilst browsing some UI in the mourningstar.
I’ve since added that launch parameter line about increasing lua mb size and so far the crashes do seem much less frequent but it needs further testing before I can make a call. Only did it yesterday so will see how it goes.
It was a suggestion from @gpkgpk I believe. Writing this on my phone so tricky to find the thread whilst replying
also two recent choices by fatshark made crashing a more painful problem.
the removal of the reconnect mission briefing skip
many times when either connecting to an on going mission, reconnecting to a mission or just a new mission the entire mission briefing would be skipped with seemingly zero harm to the playability of the game.
if the game can seemingly run with lower load times why do we have to sit through the briefings?
being blocked from reconnecting to havoc.
like i said before havoc came out punishing players for cheesing would not be just with the servers as stable as they are.
