Daily crashes when playing Chaos Wastes

For the last week, I have had game crashes (between 1 and 3 times per session) when I play Chaos Wastes. I haven’t noticed that this is happening in standard gameplay, and it also occurs at what looks to me random times (it doesn’t seem to be occuring based on my actions in game).

Crashes do not produce Windows Events, so nothing to upload from there.

Thank you for the console logs! Do you play mostly in the ‘Modded’ realm?

Thanks for looking into it. I actually cannot get modded realm to work, it always crashes for me. This is all in official realm.

That’s very odd! Some of the console logs appear to believe you’re playing in the ‘Modded’ realm which may be the result of our anti-cheat provider, Easy Anti-Cheat, not initialising correctly. Please repair Easy Anti-Cheat using the EasyAntiCheat_Setup installer located here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2\installers\EasyAntiCheat

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ve run the repair installation and will test to see if it improves performance.

I’m seeing GPU-related crashes in the latest logs, am I correct in saying you’re running x2 1080 Ti’s?

I am running one 1080 Ti, I put my system information in the original post. Knowing it could be GPU related, I found there is an update to it and installed it. Will see if this helps!

The 4.6 patch kind of messed up the testing for me, as the game now crashes pretty much every time you get beastmen on a map.

Indeed, unfortunately stability is very poor right now. Another hotfix is due shortly, which you should see a substantial improvement with.

I am on patch 4.6.3 and it is much worse for me now, as I cannot even launch the game now without crashing, even after removing all mods loaded. I have uploaded these to the same Google folders with today’s date in the filename. I’ve verified the local game files and re-installed. Any idea what I can do next?

The GPU-related crashes are persisting, so we need to look in to that.
