Crafting blessings desperately needs to be added

It’s been a while since December now, where the entirety of crafting system had been promised. Blessings can make or break a weapon (with some of them admittedly being weirdly useless) and it would alleviate a lot of fatigue over crossing fingers for the perfect weapon roll.

Think it’s safe to say the full crafting system has been early in development enough that getting it in December was not at all realistic, or else we would have got it by now. The fact that the letter sent out alludes it may come months from now is pretty… disheartening. Here’s to hoping whatever timeline that’s announced in the future is more honest than this has been.

Heck, even 1 blessing to be rerolled would satisfy me at this point…

NO NO NO, 100x NO!

Get rid of that bullcrap perk lock too!

Lock at the weapon I just bought (thanks to the plugin, I dont really start the game anymore)…

Both the perk and the blessing are a complete joke. If I upgrade the weapon and it gets another useless perk… its over, its trash, its useless…

If I cannot replace BOTH blessings… same deal…

The system now is garbage and unrewarding. They need to turn it around 180° and not just “fix a little bit here and there to make it less annoying but still annoying”

I totally agree with you… as I have several weapons with this situation.

Thats the single thing which keeps me personally from playing the game. The system is so bad, it’s totally baffling how they came up with it in the first place.

If they don’t change it to have AT LEAST Vermintide 2 levels of actual loadout / weapon customization I won’t pick up the game ever again - regardless what they add do in other parts (maps, classes whatever)

I think that longterm, the itemization system should see a bunch of changes.
But at least as short term solution, they should give us 2 rerollable perks and 2 rerollable blessings.

I have a plasma gun with a perfect stat roll and bad blessings, and a plasma gun with perfect blessings and a bad stat roll.

It teases me every time I see it. It’s so close to being perfect, I just need to transfer those damn blessings.

Completely agree. I have several 380 stat weapons, which are completely useless due to bad blessing and Perk rolls. So in essence I am not even finding a bit of enjoyment if I happen to stumble upon one of those rare 380’s. The more you consecrate the more likely it is that something in the upgrade chain completely screws up your gear.

Stuff like this would be ok in a looter shooter where weapons and resources are thrown around left and right, but right now nothing about this feels satisfying at all.

I want to feel glee if I get new weapons - not dread about the upgrade process.

I hope that when full crafting is added, the current crafting system is also changed along side it.

Disregarding the perk lock, the resource costs versus the resource earned needs to be rebalanced. It costs 1799 plasteel to upgrade a weapon from grey to orange and reroll perks for free to get the one you want basically. That means on average 10 missions. And that’s for 1 item.

Also the perk rerolling in itself is tedious. If it becomes free why do we need to spend 5 minutes mindlessly pressing “Refine item” until we get the perk we want.

You also get to a point with inventory where rerolling just stops working, like it freezes up every 5 rolls. The entire thing is a mess.

Please let me scrap items for materials. Please increase the drop rates of materials or adjust upgrade costs. I feel like I’m married to a handful of powerful weapons because they managed to beat the lottery. Exact opposite feeling of a ‘powerful treat’.
