Raising the level of a weapoon through consecration doesn’t affect the stats bars

Did they say it was meant to? I assumed it was just a way to add perks and blessings to a lower grade weapon you found with good stats. Then presumably you would be able to reroll these when more of the crafting system is implemented.
Weapon score is supposed to represent the total point distribution across all bars
So if i raise from 420 to 475, that means there’s 55 points the bars fail to take into account
Question is, is it just a visual bug, or does it mean i’m really missing 55 points, because that’s a lot and that means the weapon is borked
Traits and properties “take up” gear score. Gear score increases when you add traits and properties because they’re accounted for.

Thank you that makes sense, so does it also mean some traits have a higher value than some others ?
I assume some traits are worth more gear score than others because adding a trait in the crafting menu shows a range of future possible gear score values.
