Connection Issues After Latest Update – Cataclysm Chaos Wastes

We are from the same household and play Cataclysm Chaos Wastes multiple times a week, almost daily. Before the last update, everything was working fine, but now we’re experiencing severe connection issues.

We can hardly join one another, and even if we do, completing a single map is a struggle. We frequently get error messages like:

“The remote party closed the connection.”
“Sign-in timeout.”
“Anti-cheat doesn’t trust the host.”
The game never crashes, but these messages appear after quitting the lobby.

We are all using up-to-date Windows 10 machines. To troubleshoot, we have tried:

Verifying game files
Flushing DNS
Restarting the router
Nothing has worked so far. Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a solution?

Yes, and I’ve tried disabling them

One of use got this one after 10 seconds of playing together on the first map

Hm, it appears you’re having some connection issues to EOS service. If you run into further errors, could you please provide us with your console log from the session:

Also, could you please zip the following folder %AppData%\EasyAntiCheat\ and upload it or DM me with it
(If you can’t upload it here for any reason, if you can attach it to a support ticket here that would be great too)

To do so:

1. Press Windows + R
2. Enter ‘%appdata%’ and press ‘Ok’
3. Right-click on the folder ‘EasyAntiCheat’ and select ‘Compress to ZIP file’
4. Upload the ZIP file to us
