Some amount of falloff is expected a month after launch, but yea, a lot of this is self inflicted because they launched without a meaningful progression system. The journey from 1-30 just takes you through some shallow talent trees and unlocks the weapons, and once you’re done you realize that not only do you have no clear path toward getting the items you want, the itemization system is also shallow at best and doesn’t allow really deep customization of your play style.
Oh man, I don’t need the charts to notice the Twitch count. Darktide is in the suggested categories on my Twitch front page and it’s viewcount went from being in the the tens of thousands to now sometimes having less viewers than people painting Warhammer in the Warhammer category!
It got some big peaks around release date, but it died almost instantly.
It went to almost 100k viewers on release date (I don’t know among how many channels though), but it went down to below 20k in a week and below 5k the next week.
