no they didnt earn it. they would have earned the break if they delayed the launch. they didnt so f em fix the game already.

Mostly consolidation of feedback, presenting it to stakeholders (devs, mgmt, etc) and representing the customers, work with PR, marketing, and legal on what to reply to the user community.
What do you do? How familiar are you with dev and software lifecycles? If you are in the industry, be specific with your criticism and share what you would do. If you are not, please respect that you may not understand the complexity and duties of the jobs of anyone at Fatshark (or other game companies).
IMO FS has some bitter pills to swallow, but I respect the individual contributors and how hard they work, no matter their job role.

I have a love-hate relationship with Fatshark atm. I am very disappointed that they botched the endgame in such unacceptable fashion, but at the same time the game only is 40 bucks and I already have 150+ hours into itâŚ

The devs absolutely earned it, itâs not their fault management shipped a broken game to get it on the books for 2022. But yeah, the fire is on to fix it now since the game is shipped and people have every right to require that it actually works. I will, however, no matter what state the game is in ever recommend developer crunch and I would be even more angry if I found that that was the case.

Yeah, thereâs some extraordinarily glaring issues with the game, but itâs still easy to log a lot of hours in whatâs there.

Please be respectful to people at FS who are celebrating New Yearâs eve tomorrow (Julian calendar) and those who will celebrate it in 10 days (Lunar New Year).
I donât expect updates before February unless FS wants to look insensitive to these cultures.
Iâm joking, of course, but seriously, I feel like a lot of people here are just waiting for an update so that they can have something new to be outraged about.
You people are putting too many eggs in this âcommunity updateâ basket. Itâs a red herring.
We need an overall improvement on communication, not just these major official updates.
For example, CMs could compile a short list of major pain points and concerns and just let relevant people around the office about them without any promises or official statements, or focus on a particular subject such as âcraftingâ or âUIâ etc.
Just normal communication instead of these periodic âbigâ announcements that seem to just generate more controversies.
Damn itâs my first fatshark game i own.
But this explains alot.
Now i will stop reading reddit and official fatshark forum.

Has been happening since I started played V2 in 18â. Lol.
Holy cows that guy who wrote the Reddit post is a prophet. Itâs crazy how accurate he is. Itâs more crazy that Fatshark somehow manages to repeat that tainted cycle AGAIN with Darktide, it seems.
Welp, guess Iâll uninstall it from my PC now and stop waiting for the endgame to change. Iâll come back somewhere 2024, I guess?

Because this has been the case for every single FS release.

No, it would not⌠I donât want talks⌠I wait for what is missing and was planned to be added before the end of the last year (crafting).
They implement that, they continue to work on fixes for the crashes and all will be good. We can wait they made their port for console before they give us new contents.
By the way⌠is there really so many people interested by such game on a console ? there is lot of guns in this game. I know that gamepads are great for melee, but it is really a pain for FPS.
