Careful now… they are highly trained feet killing machines.

I really think that making a system where you could potentially do everything you want with only one weapon has little sense.
About my 6 combat axes, all of them were wanted. I like to use them from time to time. The one that has thunderous and thrust, I really like it. So I don’t see a problem here at having several different weapons. I have several shotgun as well, several heavy swords etc.
Myself, I say that if there was no lock, you would need only one weapon. Due to the system, yes I have 9 combat axes (on my main zealot), all different (Rashad and Antax). And I see an interest to keep all of them. However, without locks, I could use only 2.

Suggested it… at least for blessings (link above)

As I said, I don’t think that a system where you need only one weapon could justify the crafting, resources, shops and contracts.

As I said we could just make a screen where we choose freely the weapon and the blessings. And in such system, we can remove resources, and perk/blessings tiers.
Cause the system where you would need one weapon to do whatever you want with it, doesn’t need a crafting system. You can unlock the weapons with the level progression (and the beauty is that the system for the weapon unlocked during the level progression is already here).

Building up player base is contingent on a few things:

  1. DON’T do stuff that drives players away (i.e. retain current players)

  2. DO add stuff at a regular cadence that entices players to keep playing and to come back (i.e. reengage past players)

  3. Build up goodwill with the community (core players) to they talk up the game and recommend it to others (i.e. bringing in new players)

Ultimately Fatshark has a two-pronged problem on their hands.

First - the crafting/progression system has driven away a lot of players and continues to be a pain point, and this is reflected in the general sentiment of reviews and when people share their opinions about the game. They say things like: “Darktide has incredible core combat gameplay BUT the progression systems are major buzzkill. The game is good IF you can look past that.

Fixing crafting, progression, mission selection, etc. will help minimize some of this.

Second - the game does need a regular injection of content that goes beyond rotating premium cosmetics and gives a reason for people to keep coming back to the game.

A quarterly content-drop (or “season”) that features:

  • one new sub-class/career,
  • a new set of penances rewarding non-premium cosmetics
  • at least one new weapon or variant for each existing class/archetype
  • new set of mission mutators / deeds / secondary objectives to add variety to existing missions
  • Something “plot related” to advance the story (cut scene, special story mission / side quest, something)
  • One new mission in a pre-existing map (bonus for adding new mission types)
  • Twice a year: New map tile set with 3 missions.

false

makes sense, i overestimate and said 1.2k for 1 orange weapon

false, ive done what i said and i constantly roll good, usually takes me only 2 brunts 370s+ to get 1 god roll

nah man, i just mass roll brunts then autoclick 4 times on the upgrade weapon, you get to a point in keeping resources after not spending it for a long time that you basically have a surplus or savings

the way you acquire and spend your ordo and plasteel is not my discretion

yep, thats why in my opinion a god roll is a weapon thats amazingly good in your hands with extremely high stats 515+, i think having perfect t4 blessings is way more important than having perfect perks tho

false, having a high stat brunts weapon will more likely grant you t4 blessings and perks, saying this is like you know for a fact that gambling for the blessings and perks will take forever if not never, naw it just takes longer than your patience can handle, what i “claim” is what i actually do at least once a week for a few weapons

everyone knows power cycler is impossible to get, many say it takes more than 200 orange upgrades, lemme guess, youre butthurt about power cycler and want to make it easier to acquire it, nvm thats the whole point of this topic

what you experience is different from what i experience, unless the only thing youre mad about is power cycler, all other perks and blessings are as easy as 2 orange upgrades especially after you earn other t4 blessings

i dont think being lucky rolling a god roll within 2 items doesnt make me a good player, but thank you for complimenting my basic elementary math

Reading your posts actually hurts my head, because my brain can not grasp your ignorance.
You do not seem to have understood a thing that i said.
You talk about maths, yet think that you can expect to get a god roll (which requires one of two specific T4 perks and one of two specific T4 blessings to be present on the weapon after upgrading it to orange) from a pool of ~15 perks and ~8 blessings within 2 attempts of upgrading an item…

On the block list you go.

Some quick maths:
assuming

  • ~15 available perks
all perks have an equal probability of appearing
    tier does not matter
  • ~8 available blessings
all blessings have an equal probability of appearing
    tier does not matter

You have a chance of

  • 25.7% to get at least one of the two perks that you want (any tier) on your weapon
  • 46.4% to get at least one of the two blessings that you want (any tier) on your weapon
  • 11.9% to get at least one correct perk and one correct blessing (any tier) on your weapon

So it would take an average of around 10 weapons, upgraded to orange, to be able to have both perks and both blessings that you want (after replacing one of each) if you accept ANY tier.
This is 5x as many as you claim it takes to get a perfect, full T4 godroll.
Within the two items that you claim it takes to get a perfect godroll, you can not expect to get even one of the perks or blessings that you want (at any tier).

“flawless”

edit: legit argued every point, even agreed with 1 or 2 of them
“YOUR IGNORANCE IS TOXIC!!1111!1”

your assumptions are wrong, hence your math is wrong, hence your are wrong

My assumptions are optimistic.
Hence the values for the real ingame situation are MUCH worse.
That is exactly my point.

The guy claims that our current crafting system consistently produces godrolls within 2 items.
