There’s only one burning question bothering us and its not emotes. Saying you will bear it in mind moving forward sounds like an evasion rather than an answer.
If your lucky lol.

For no particular reason I’ve been tracking all the daily peak player counts on a chart since the beta started.
FWIW, this week on Monday the daily peak dropped below 5,000 players for the first time, and has been below 5k each day since.
Pretty sad.
“by the end of february” so next thursday or so. Nice!
How about you all stop trying to reinvent the wheel and just import the same crafting system from VT2, you know, the one poeple actually dont have much of an issue with?
You all really need to learn what “If you build it, they will come.” means.
Are you still locking weapon blessings/perks once changed?
I’m not considering returning until we’re given full freedom to modify our weapons without arbitrary blockers like this.
Once you’ve “locked in” which blessing you want to change, can we change the blessing for that slot indefinitely like we can with perks? Or are we stuck with the first thing we choose.
And I agree on this… I don’t say people don’t have the right to propose alternatives…
I was just talking about the guys that keep repeating that RNG is bad, Fatshark is totally wrong, the game will die, and so on…
Even saying you dislike / hate etc… I can understand. But what annoy me is seeing repeated ad nauseam.
Example: first post “They really are doing their best to tank this game as hard as possible.”
Actually, they did not even see what are the choices of fatshark in term of resources, cost for the crafting etc. I don’t know either. And maybe I will be unhappy by their choice.
However, before bashing, maybe trying the system they propose can be something to do…
Because all of the changes Fatshark has proposed are, at best, bandaids on the gaping wound that is this game’s RNG. You’re asking people to give FS the benefit of the doubt, but they have demonstrated over and over since launch that they don’t deserve that trust.
Edit: Not even just since launch. For years.
Hi! I realize this might not be a priority for you guys, but is there any plan to add some sort of option to use the old beta HUD? I know that many people, myself included, really liked the retro sci-fi style over the current, more generic one.
Bruh, look at the charts. The game is clinically dead. They have no players left.
Changes in the good direction, but could you please explain what is the rationale behind this^ rather than just letting us choose the difficulty level we want for whatever maps and modifiers are in rotation? It makes zero sense for anyone to have to go through a bunch of missions that they have no interest in playing at all. Literally unwanted content. Let us play the game we want to play, please. We really want to love this game.
Probably some kind of player retention tactic.
it’s obviously because of whatever server hosting architecture they have, this way they can control the number of servers and aren’t going to spin up a server just for you to pick what you want, you go into their servers with maps they pick or nothing
this comm-link is just more doubling down on stupid
they didn’t even address some of the things they promised in the ‘d33p div3’
enjoy watching your player numbers continue to tank
maybe a free weekend soon lol
“By end of December”
“By end of February”
“Next week!”

Well. Emotes are good at least. Extra resources are also good.
Everything else? Meh. Stop doubling down on systems people hate. Yeah, sure, you’re making them LESS obnoxious, but I’d rather see you take the time to just rip them out. Because less obnoxious is still obnoxious. The mission board never should have launched in the state it is. Let us pick the mission we want to play at the difficulty we want.
Why can’t we? Is it a restriction based on your server architecture/due to the dedicated servers and how you have people joining games? We’ve all noticed how poorly THAT has worked out.
Also perk/blessing locks, bleh. Needing to RNG the blessings we actually want, bleh. All of this still means we’ll be chaining RNG several ways through just to hope we get the blessings we want. I bet weapons won’t even show us if we already have the blessings on it or not, will it? Because FS is just SO known for awful QoL.
These systems need replaced, not added to. But whatever. Not like anyone is really playing anymore. Darkmass just closed shop, too, though I guess the community–or what’s left of it–might pick it back up. This is just getting kinda pathetic, guys. I want to thank you for the work you’re all putting in, but it just seems like FS is putting work into things people don’t want. And we’ve all been vocal about not wanting it. So I don’t understand what’s going on.
Get your head out of your ass Fatshark… Still not one mention of the dogshit servers?
This is a nice patch to put a band-aid on the big issues of the progression system, but it’s still a band-aid. I’d be happy to see if there’s any intention at all to fix the core issues of the game and the lack of QoL improvements, as we currently still aren’t given enough agency in what or how we want to play.
Unless Martin Nextweek feels like leaving all on his own, we’re not gonna see it.
Well, that’s the number one reason why I pretty much stopped playing the game… so I’d say it ain’t working too well
I am not asking for full control, I understand how that could be a waste of their resources. I wouldn’t have an issue with seeing only 4-8 mission in the board if I could choose the difficulty I want to play them at. At the moment I look at the board and I see 1-2 missions I may want to play and a bunch of irrelevant stuff that’s just polluting my screen, and reminding me how great it would be to play that one if only it was at the difficulty level I am looking for. It’s a disappointing system almost by design.
Rejects! We’ve heard your feedback and, summarily, ignored it!
To act as a salve to the gross realization that we’re not just doubling but tripling down on our awful perk and blessing systems, we’ll be making our bandaids slightly larger!
Thanks for the cash, losers! See ya!
Fun fact: on Steam Darktide’s peak players has been below Vermintide 2’s peak players every day since Feb 4th.
