Usually, if boss is not alone, you got to make him to be.
By clearing stuff first or by kiting boss back.
Perfect boss encounter should look like this:
2 people dealing with the horde, elites and specials in front.
Other 2 is killing boss in the back.
My strategy can be helpful in kill stage,
but not meant to be used in kite stage.
It is still beneficial to understand exactly how to 1v1 spawn even in the most optimal of circumstances. If you cannot do it even in those circumstances then you will have no chance when you mix in more annoyances to factor in. Its a good resource and complaining its not done in a mission is missing the point.

I wish this wasn’t a thing, it’s so stupid. I know there’s timing to it but it’s still broken.
Ironically, unlike most of the cool shenanigans rejects can do, this one is kinda lore-compliant. Ogryn are just ludicrously strong.
Plus, it’s just fun. Bosses are a distraction carnifex most of the time anyway, so a mutual-CC between an oggy and a boss is a fair tradeoff.
