Can't buy skins

Issue Description:
Cannot buy Phoenix kings body guard discounted bundle (2 items)

Steps to Reproduce:
log into game (no active mods)
load in as any career (i tried several elf and dwarf characters)
go to lornar’s shop
click to purchase Pheonix king’s guard bundle either from the featured list or drilling down to hand maden cosmetics
click to purchase item
get shown error box:
“Error
Steam authorization failed. Error: > = k_EResultFail. Error code 2”

If so, which region are you playing from?

I’m playing in the UK. I dont have a vpn on. I just tried again today and still cannot buy that cosmetic even though the price has changed - to normal price.
It would be nice if this was fixed, but I won’t try again unless there’s another sale on.

Hi @spcarlin,

Thanks for the info and confirming. Also, just to check, do you have the Steam Overlay enabled? As this is required for any in-game purchases to work.

If the issue still persists, then next I recommend to try Verifying Integrity of Game Files:

  1. Right-click Vermintide 2 in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ button
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

i had steam overlay turned off. turning it back on before starting the game fixed the issue. thanks
