can we please fix bursters already ![]()
these ones are just confusing behaviors not articulated in any way. like all specialists burster spawns in with a target, and will only override that to jump under very specific circumstances, like with the other specialists switching targets. like you see here where it doesnāt prime when you push it, because it hasnāt decided to jump yet because you arenāt its target.
the second one is just trash design of enemies being able to push the burster, even though you were pushing it backwards reaper fire and shotguns kept pushing it back. though I think ones like mutant or dog dragging them back into you are equally annoying. when pushed by a player while armed I think the burster needs some kind of state check that prevents it from being knocked back again. as funny as it is watching it flop around.
No! Let it flop around and keep getting pushed by that one person who keeps trying to pop it in melee range while the rest of the team is waiting for him to back so they can safely shoot it; based on a true story, there was yelling involved.

Itās sooo goofy when the bursters tick like crazy because of proximity, but havenāt primed because reasons. I really wonder what the logic behind poxburster activation isā¦

In the second clip that PB got pushed towards you by a shotgun blast. I brought up this bs months ago when I had enough to pouncing hounds interacting with already pushed PBs.
PBs should not be affected by other enemies or fire effects. Those mechanics should be clear, dependable and consistent.

aside from the little misshap in the first video arby grenades are fantastic for dealing with stubborn bursters
i hate them so much, if they suddenly disappeared I would be glad
on a side note, you used to be able to ping while reviving/rescuing but that was broken a couple of patches ago

Missing / really really quiet audio. PB audio seems to struggle in closed spaces, unless its the character chatter which is overriding it all together. Again Sweden, we need more audio engineering work.
