BOT choices improvements

Even with improved combat mod that tells BOTs to stay closer they sometimes get stuck on some complex terrain on a ledge or complex slopes (best example - a destroyed building on the Skittergate on which the first grim located). When they stuck they stop following the player and even come rescuing until the player is far enough for bots to teleport. And sometimes in close spaces like, again, ledges, they stay in front so close you don’t see them, and yet deal heavy FF to them when sniping elites.

Again, to the first problem the answer is forced BOT Teleport on social wheel such us “come here” or “help!”. Or a command that tells AI to narrow the distance BOTs have to be teleported rather that walked to the player on complex terrain.

OR completely rewrite AI logic when navigating on terrain so they copy a living player’s jumping and navigating skills. I just think TP would be an easier solution

The second problem is also very important to fix. Let BOTs stay close to the player and yet set a minimum distance to around a body range - in narrow spaces and on ledges BOTs love to get so close that a player can no longer see there’s a bot in front of him. There’s way too many instants when you FF a bot when you snipe elites from a vantage point of a ledge just because they were so close you didn’t see it was there

They already do this when out of combat - however they are limited by the AI navigation grid, so they tend to zig zag and follow odd paths when doing so. You can actually get them to jump to the Skittergate grim safely by making a clean jump with no turns or anything.

Still, would love a forced teleport, or even just a recall that makes them run to you. Would make a huge difference.

I hate when you’re the host and one person joins and all the sudden both bots are following the other person instead of you.
