Black screen using RX 7900 XTX

Issue Description:

I tried loading the game after installing my new AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics card and updating my graphics drivers. The shader cache recompiled and the game loaded in fine, but only the UI elements would render. The rest of the game would render as a black screen.

Upload Console Log:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide\console_logs
  4. Locate the console log that corresponds with the session in which the issue occurred, by looking at the timestamps in the log names
  5. Upload here

Upload darktide_launcher.log:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Navigate to AppData\Roaming\Fatshark\Darktide
  4. Locate the darktide_launcher.log in this directory
  5. Upload here

Could you try the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ option please?:

  1. Right-click Darktide in your Steam library sidebar
  2. Select ‘Properties’
  3. Select the ‘Local Files’ tab
  4. Select the ‘Verify Integrity of Game Files’ button
  5. When complete, close and reopen Steam

if you changed your hardware, like gpu you need to delete the userconfig and restart the game so it can redetect your hardware. I just did that because i upgraded to the 7900xt and it fixed my issue.
