UI but Black Screen

The game used to work fine. I upgraded to an AMD RX 6800 XT and now have issues. I made sure to uninstall all nvidia drivers when I switched cards. When I get to the character select screen I get a black screen, but I still see the UI. If I select a character it takes 5-10 mins to load in. When it finally does load I will see character names and my portrait in the bottom left, but still a black screen. There is no error code.
I verified the game, I disabled full screen optimization, I verified the steam install, I reinstalled the game twice, I disabled discord and AMD overlays, I turned off the game bar, I let it through the firewalls, and I still get black screen.

Hi @skitra,

Can you please try the following -

Reinstall your GPU drivers:

Remove the ‘Fatshark’ %appdata% folder (please note, by doing this your custom game settings/keybinds will be reset):

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Delete the ‘Fatshark’ folder
  4. Launch Darktide
