PLEASE HELP Unplayable Game / Blackscreen on launch

Hey Fatshark, can I get your help on this?

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Launch game and navigate to character select screen. Issue begins from there.

Things I’ve tried to remedy the issue:

  • Even after selecting a character, the blackscreen persists and I cannot play the game.
  • I’ve also attempted to play around with the graphics settings in every possible way to no avail.
  • and a bunch of other things, darktide is the only game giving me this issue,

Hi @Warrak,

Can you please try the following -

Reinstall your GPU drivers:

Remove the ‘Fatshark’ %appdata% folder (please note, by doing this all of your custom game settings and keybinds will be reset):

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Enter %appdata% within the search input and select ‘OK’
  3. Delete the ‘Fatshark’ folder
  4. Launch Darktide

Removing the FatShark folder seemed to be the fix here. Thanks Lev!
