Are you joking fatshark - Update the steel legion set across the board

Which due to the lack of customisation, circles back around to the greed point.

for the prices they’re charging, at the very least, we should be able to colour them however we want. it’s such a scumbag move to charge full price for re-colours when they take next to no effort. not only that, but there are so many cosmetic head pieces that get rid of hair, or alter your look in some unforeseen way that makes absolutely no sense.

there are even some that have masks, but don’t muffle your voice for some reason, and others that change your voice in a terrible way. inconsistent quality at consistently high prices.

They would make more money from greed from selling more new stuff tho lmao

No, when people bought it there was only one set, no other options, and no indication FS would create more SL cosmetics weeks later.

I would actually buy some cosmetics if the prices were lowered but who cares what i want.
Obese fish just wants to go whale hunting instead

This buying of premium currency is really bad
They said they did it to not have to bother with pricing in every region every time they roll out a new skin but I call bullcrap.
Having only the opportunity to buy in established paks forces customers to overpay.
These are predatory tactics, it was worse at launch and they toned it down after community backlash, but it’s still very bad.

Hold on there, this is not some Guard regiment Fatshark have created, this is the Armageddon Steel Legion, an Imperial Guard regiment that has existed in 40k for 23 years following their release with Codex: Armageddon. That is more than two decades of official source material showing their now well-established aesthetic, which always includes hoses on respirators.

I don’t think FS will retroactively add the hose to the original Steel Legion bundle; they’re already showing how much they like to recycle assets and create rushed and incorrect cosmetics, which is ridiculous because some of us are very nerdy 40k people who have been playing the game for decades and know what the official GW versions look like. If they’re going to keep doing bundles of the famous regiments they need to get them right, otherwise what is the point of doing them? Cash grab, I know, but still. For a game that does such a great job of recreating the feel of a hive city for the missions it amazes me they skimp on the player cosmetics.

You misunderstand, for the marketing team scumbags calling the shots on this greedy BS this is the point. Don’t ask questions, just consume product.

This is the main point that annoys me with clothes.

You cannot customize anything… like removing these candles.

I hope for FS that nobody will release an horde shooter cooperative with no RNG and player agency. Cause they would see the player base vanishing to a critical point.

Their pricing is outrageous. And this I can deal with it… but no player agency at all…
I want my columnus have an other color than the metal blue… but no skin I can apply without changing it to an agri infantry gun…
This is these details that have a big impact on your experience. And as I said, if they want to sell cosmetics, they should not be lazy with the entire cosmetic system:

  • lack of possible customization (possibility to change color, remove elements)
  • cosmetic shop that doesn’t display everything available
  • weapons skins that are models instead of just painting colors (however I am not against to see also different models sold) - worst is the imperial edition has true skin. So they did well at first, then became lazy
  • prices a little too high. I don’t say they should lower it too much… but cutting by half the price would give a correct pricing (if what I quoted could be added)

I will find it funny if space marine 2 has significantly better customisation than darktide

Especially the now extremely rare and difficult forbidden technique of allowing players just freely pick colours.

The moment we get shirtless again I will use nothing else and relentlessly bully every paid mtx player that is not good enough to survive.

They either convert to shirtless in the name of the emperor or don’t get revived.

Simple 'as.

I am sure at some time a modder could create a mod to display, locally, the shirtless cosmetic…

That’ll be 2400 Aquilas please.

“because of how long it took to create this pice we have temporarily increased the price to 2900 for this set”

I’m still of the opinion that they just forgot to press “Save” after rigging the coats.
No way they have fully animation rigged coats of totally random origin, but the priced Krieg sets get a stiff coat of metal.

yeah, somthings fishy about that and its not the obeast shark

1400 aquilas is a DISGUSTING amount for a helmet. That’s not chump change. I mean, the Death Korps of Krieg cosmetics all together cost just under $100 in my country’s currency. The amount of Aquilas you get should get you AT LEAST twice the number of skins that they do now.
