Arbites Class Coming June 23

Thank you and thank goodness for more character slots on account menu. Also on xbox its also hard enough to only have five saved slots on builds as well in Operatives builds tabs, can there be at least one more build save slot?

So, how do we think their abilities will work?

Nuncio Aquila as the combat ability and doggo as the blitz?
Doggo as the ability, Nuncio as different auras, and normal grenades (boring) for the blitz?

The mod says:

“You can increase the max number of loadouts manually by editing the mod file but characters are capped at 8 server side.”

But if we are getting more slots then that is good! :+1: @FatsharkKitefin

Yes, fully overpriced!

The old ones gave roughly 2 weapons each + a unique class with new ults for €3.5, it only becomes reasonable if u included the cosmetic pack which were €7.92

In what world is that a reasonable (let alone long term profitable) price

I think that the collaboration with Owlcat games Rogue Trader has helped influence Darktide to bring in a few more goodies in the near future. Now that we have Arbites, the next class to bet upon is a tech priest because Pasqual in RT helped make sense of a Tech-Priest in combat with talents, skills, and taking control of (combat) servitors. The least likely we get of a new class is an Adepta Sororita or Ratling by my speculation.

At first I was skeptical about the new class having a price tag, but then I realized you guys have been adding maps and game modes for free, for the last couple of years, which is more important and fair in my book.

Also I didn’t expect you would add SIX whole new voice actors! that was a pleasant surprise and totally worth the 12 euro pricetag IMO, so all and all, I’m excited and hoping for more maps and a “chaos-wastes” mode soon!

Oh, also I hope Arbites gets some cosmetic variety out of the box, not just boring recolors

Bro you’re cooked, there are 3 times as many voice actors for a single class addition, dozens more impactful talent options even if we don’t include the +5% toughness nodes, and we’re still getting new weapons too (jury is out on their uniqueness though I will grant you that).

Very rarely did those careers vastly change my play experience with that class. It was just 1 more build to play, but I still bought them because they were fairly priced, like this one.

Alongside the Cybermastiff its wild seeing the ability to use Nuncio-Aquila

We will see alot of crowd control calamity getting bonked by “the law” lol

I feel like shotgun weapons are going to be buffed by Arbites abilities. Making the shotgun weapons more highly useful again along with the new weaponry would make sense.

Considering this is three “vermintide careers” since we are basically getting “mercenary, huntsman, foot knight” with the three branches.

If it’s just suppression, it will be limited in use. Most things in the game are immune to suppression so it’s always been iffy. Might help close to melee with shooter though.

I guess we’ll see in the dev blog.

Exactly. Based on the history of the Tide game pricing, this is totally fine. Winds of Magic was a way worse value by comparison.

Veteran with VoC and commissar cosmetics is a Commissar especially with Power Sword or Chainsword and Bolt Pistol
