I feel like many people here. Paid dlcs or overpriced cosmetics, not both!
I think I’m more interested in the narrative additions than the new class, it’s a very good addition.
Also curious about common dregs carrying machineguns!
Dude get out the kitchen because you’re buring the food
And? The reuse voice actors often, add new lines to the base classes fot the hell of it and even overhualed at least one map now to include at least 2 new voices, if there’s one point you can’t nail me on it’s this
Yea I’ve heard of powercreep, we’ve yet to see them though so for all we know a good few could be a combo of stuff we’ve seen before in new paint
The other game has new weapons coming too and will likely get more in a €5 dlc then we’ll have in a fomo funded year or so
Even adjusting for inflation €12 is way too much compared to €3.5, you might as well defend fomo at this point
When gameplay trailer?
He can LARP as a commissar and you can RP it in your head-canon, but it is nowhere in any of the character creators or the personality backstories. Quite the opposite.
More realistically, it is the equivalent of a sergeant. Maybe a junior officer. Maybe.
What are you even talking about? Do you think the voice actors work at the company for free? How does that not factor into the cost? Simply because you say it doesn’t?
Your complaints about talents are irrelevant because you could argue that the shout on Victor is a repainted Kruber shout and the stealth on Bardin is a repainted Kerillian stealth.
Either way there are undeniably more talents and they will be more impactful choices than just “what flavor of temporary hp gain do I want today”
Finally the speed with which the content comes out has nothing to do with the value of what is presented in this single DLC.
You’re just grasping at straws.
edit - even if we disregard VA costs, that’s still 3 VAs worth of dialogue to hear, whether you like it or not, that still counts as content for the class.
This gem of a game will be finally complete! Finally some decent news from FS on skull event.
FOR THE EMPEROR
FOR THE LEX IMPERIALIS
FOR ATOMA
All the VAs have likely been brought back to do new convos for this new class too.
Good point, I forgot about that.
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, looks neat…but
Can. We. Pet. The. Dog?
Like in every airlock/elevator, can we pet the dogo to give them a small buff?
Literally playable or literally unplayable, that is the question!
Please nerf the knife and dueling sword to near uselessness with this update.
@FatsharkKitefin I’m afraid we’ll all have to uninstall if we can’t pet the pooch. You understand of course.
So, we’ve got just a DLC announcement?
And that’s all??? Seriously?
My point is it’s not as much as u think and they can easily cover it already, hell they could cover the cost easier it wasn’t so high because more would buy lol
No I fully agree those are reskins and would argue further on that being why they’re free
There’s an argument for dt being more impactful but that’s a double edged sword especially when it’s balance isn’t adjusted as often like vt’s is ultimatly leading to more problems
I agree but I think it’s worth noting how much free content the one with all the dlc is getting more free content drops then the one that supposedly relys on it and they got that after dt released lmao
All in all it should be €8 at max for both theirs and our sakes and arguing otherwise is as useful as defending fomo
I would also like a 1/20th chance to balance the dog on my palm.
My bottom line is, disregarding everything else, 1 career of talents is worth 1 branch of talents in DT. I paid 4 bucks for 1 career, so I will pay up to 3 times that amount for 3 times the talents.
Which is what we have here.
And I think that’s dumb and shows not only you didn’t enage into the classes much but also don’t factor in other aspects like what would of been cutting room floor stuff for past carrers are more then likely gonna be added for dt ones to save time and money and how more pricey dlc will likely scare away anyone who has sense with money leading to lower sales… I’m arguing that this is a bad decision for them as much as it is for us
Probably not actually. There is a big VA strike going on at the moment. It will depend heavily on whether the initial guys are part of that strike or not. If so, they may have to make do with sound-alikes.
At least one of the Vox Intercepts was taken down around the time it all started and we’ve had no new one in 6 months or so, so it’s likely at least some of their VAs are involved in it.
That’s just my bottom line. Nothing you have said effectively refutes the points I made about how there is at least as much as 3 times the effort here which justifies 3 times the price.
Dozens of people had to come together for this particular piece of content.
Either way, with that baseless, incorrect assumption of the amount of time I have engaged with the tide series (a lot), I find we are at an impasse and I have to hit the road. Have a good one.
Or it’s already been recorded for 2 years.
But I really really hope (and expect) that FS wouldn’t do the VAs dirty like that.
