During today’s PC Gaming Show, we gave you a first gameplay glimpse at the Adeptus Arbites and announced the Deluxe Edition.
Check out the gameplay trailer below to see the Arbites unleashing their loyal Cyber-Mastiffs upon lexbreakers, and delivering judgment with extreme prejudice.

In the lead-up to launch, we’ll be releasing more reveals. We’ll also be sharing more over the coming days, including a longer gameplay video on June 12. Additional dev blogs on the Arbites’ talent tree, weapons, and more, will be published in the weeks prior to release.
Thanks for sticking with us through this reveal, we’re beyond excited for you to take control of the Arbites on June 23, 2025! Make sure to wishlist the Arbites Class now so you’re ready to restore order on Tertium Day 1.
In what universe is and entirety new class the same as a sub class for an already established character in vermintide? It cost more because maybe they had to pay 6x voice actors for starters.
Noticed better in mister E’s slow mo take the pistol shield almost looks like a swap might be two shield weapons… being first ranged shield or as initial thought a blitz / maybe two variable weapon specials one activated while blocking electrifies while not whips out pistol.
Nice one. Now explain why the premium cosmetics are way more expensive than VT2 and work off of FOMO. Or why the in game cosmetic system is so much more sparse by comparison.
Also big whoop you hired more voice actors to say the same whole lot of soulless nothing as the other blank face characters. Unironically VT2 premium classes probably have more memorable and valuable voice work than whatever Arbites will come out with, despite there being less of it.
VT2 also frequently added new dialogue interactions relevant to the current updates in the overarching story. Always in patches for free, usually without even drawing attention to it. Man the cost of voice work must have gone up a lot if what was previously free is now a factor in a significantly bigger price tag.
You see Mummeh, what people are reacting to negatively here is the very palpable feeling that the game value we’re getting out of our dollars just keeps diminishing. You can argue how this is a reasonable price all you like, but anyone watching the broader trends are simply not going to be thrilled about this overall and that’s a very reasonable reaction.
Yeah I don’t think that’s even slightly true. I highly doubt a Darktide fanatic is going to get anywhere near triple the value out of Arbites as an equivalent VT2 fanatic from one of their DLC classes. Double would already be stretching it to my mind.
In terms of player value talent tree only offers more value if it actually offers more distinct build possibilities (that actually have somewhat different feeling gameplay, not just number shuffling). Meanwhile I wouldn’t be surprised if Tourney Balance Mod Zealot in VT2 has more distinct builds that get played than Darktide Zealot (or at least comparable variety) despite doing the three choices per row thing rather than the big sprawling tree with an illusion of choice.
