Skulls reveal leaked and it's paid DLC: June 23rd

Players will be able to purchase the Arbites Class on all platforms on June 23, 2025 for the price of $11.99 / €11.99.

Why sell overpriced BS when you double dip with DLC. FS is being scum as usual. I wouldn’t mind paying for DLC without the dogsht MTX store.

It’s a class, here’s the reveal trailer from the stream: Twitch (my first clip hope it works) just watch the full thing here Arbites Class Coming June 23

About This Content

You are justice.

The Adeptus Arbites enforce the Lex Imperialis – the Imperial Law. Utterly unforgiving, they persecute heretics and traitors throughout the Emperor’s realm. As an Arbitrator, you are a warrior of the Emperor’s justice, prosecuting crimes against the Imperium with disciplined zeal. Restore order to Tertium with your Cyber-Mastiff and a devastating array of new weaponry.

Command your Cyber-Mastiff

A relentless, cybernetically-engineered hound, your R-VR is never far from your side. Direct your vicious kill-dog to take down enemies, disable priority targets and provide critical support to your strike team. This is no pet - it’s a fearsome weapon.

Your judgment. How will you enforce it?

Craft your unique Arbitrator by mixing freely between 80+ talent nodes or choose one of the three distinct combat styles found in Darktide’s branching talent trees.

The Arbitrator’s commanding presence hits the battlefield with a shock. Barking orders and laying down withering suppressing fire, they control crowds before moving in for the killing blow. They bring new technology in the form of the Nuncio Aquila, anti-grav vox platforms that amplify their commands, overwhelming their weak-willed opponents.

Exact punishment with extreme prejudice

Clad in their iconic carapace armour and wielding potent weapons of oppression, the Arbitrators strike with prodigious force. Muscle forwards with reinforced Assault Shields and a choice of Dominator Maul or Arbites Shotpistol - Darktide’s first defense/range combo. For tougher targets, the Arbites Shotgun packs a unique punch with its Special Issue ammunition.

Sanction wears many faces

Though they consider the Lex Imperialis to be a singular truth, no two enforcers are alike. Customise your Arbitrator, choose from six voices across three personalities, cosmetics for your Cyber-Mastiff, character, and weapons.

This part confuses me. Definitely sounds like a new class, but why would the talent nodes be distinct from the trees? Are the nodes not within the trees??

Yeah, and 80+ talent nodes ‘mixed freely’ sounds different than the talent trees we have now.

I actually wonder if this is solo mode…

Maybe someone just wrote it wrong.

Telling you either stick to 1 branch (So like if you did Ogryn Gunlugger/Bullgryn/Skullcrusher) or mixing the branches together.

That was my first thought, but it was just worded so awkwardly.

Maybe it sounds slick as hell in the original Swedish.

little lame, glad there’s some people jazzed but I thought the excuse of the shop and no content was no paid content. pretty sure this won’t be the last one either looking at VT2.

did vet get a weapon yet?

Yep, that pisses me of aswell. Either have paid DLCs or a shitty overpriced FOMO shop but you shouldn’t have both.

So a Ratling Arbiter then?!

Cries in Low Gothic :sob:

But Ratling or no, a new paid class is 100% getting my money, especially judge Dredd with a dog :fire:

I’d really love if they dropped a map or 2 with it. The maps are feeling quite stale.

No ratlings, but also…paid. DLC. When cosmetics are so absurdly overpriced based on the justification of making other content free.

Yeah, no, this is a no for me. It’s going in the Book, since I’m not the only one complaining here.

I dont like this Ill still buy it tbh

Not a ratling as I predicted. It would be too much effort for FS.

A dog “pet” sounds like a helluva lot of work tbh.

Is there any indication it’s paid DLC? I can’t see any price in the preview

I mean, it’s more so that Ratling really don’t bring much in term of potential for a Tide game.

Considering we had paid cosmetics in VT as well as paid classes, maps, and weapons I don’t really see the problem here. Crappy shop aside, this is still an improvement from their previous dlc model.
