This is getting kind of silly now don’t you think.
They do it, because too many mugs will pay for it.
Yeah, I want to support the game, doesn;t mean I should be fleeced and have the p**s taken out me though.
Especially when you can’t be arsed to balance the game correctly, put some effort in to thinking of clever ways to make the game harder…
So like F am I gonna support if their option is always the easy way.
I’m simultaneously annoyed and having to fight off the urge to buy it regardless.
Compared to the commode store the deluxe bundle has more value and content for less money.
Still does not mean it doesnt feel like nickel and diming. If anything it only highlights how shitty the aquila store is.
If you just want the class:
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide - Arbites Class
If you want the class AND the cosmetics:
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide - Arbites Class Deluxe Edition
If you already have the class and now also want the cosmetics:
Warhammer 40,000: Darktide - Arbites Class Cosmetic Upgrade
It’s not that complicated.
I said beforehand that if the store wasn’t what it was I’d be willing to pay $20 for this DLC.
Equally so, if the store gets fixed I’ll buy this $20 deluxe edition.
Nobody said its complicated, it is incredibly easy to tell that this is an obvious scam made to look like a good deal. I wanna support the game and will buy the standard because i think 12$ is a fair ask for the amount of work that went into design, development and voice work on the arbites but i dont think another 8 bucks to get a few skins is worth it.
expected… though female armor not very satsifying…

They do the same for VT2 classes.
And it is ass.
I really hope this class has the same amount of penance unlockable, and buyable (with dockets) cosmetics as all the other classes, because if they do the stupid thing they did with with VT2 of locking cosmetics behind another paywall this is going to be… well, another dumpster fire for the collection.
lol Not in my opinion. I think it’s better than there being one DLC offered for $19.
We know there are penance armors to earn. If you don’t want to support the game, and just want the new class, don’t buy the deluxe edition.
It would be better if you get to unlock stuff in game by playing with the thing you just paid instead of putting it behind a paypall.
If I don’t see the same amount of stuff to unlock as the same other classes, I certainly won’t. This nonsense is getting ridiculous. Yes, even more.
You will be able to, they’ve already said as much. How much remains to be seen.
I never bought a single add-on cosmetic bundle for any of the VT2 classes because I thought they were ugly. But this add-on armor looks cool, and I want to support FS, so it’s an easy buy for me. I just won’t get a shake with my burger next week or whatever.
Meh doesn’t really bother me because the officer helmet thingy really puts me off. And the base cyber mastiff skin looks better than the deluxe one.
I’m just fine with the standard arbites look.
Only thing that erks me about it is that their “proper” look, i.e. the way GW paints them, is a paid cosmetic instead of an earned one.
So what? Recognize its not worth your money and move on, no need to complain about it.
I was thinking the same thing. You have the standard version, the deluxe edition, and then a cosmetic upgrade edition… All for a small DLC. Thats honestly quite insane.
The cosmetic add-on is just the “deluxe edition” cosmetics purchased separately, after buying the class.
I admit, I misunderstood that at first. It looked like an awful lot stacked up together based on how it was written. To clarify what I thought was going on, I saw this:
Standard Edition: $11.99 / €11.99
Deluxe Edition: $18.99 / €18.99
Cosmetic Upgrade (Upgrade to Deluxe): $7.99 / €7.99
And I assumed the cosmetic pack upgraded the deluxe edition and not the standard edition. So I thought all up it was going to be $27 and I was getting a bit nervous lol.
The premium skin looks like a temu Kruber anyways, so I’ll skip it
good for me, money saved
