I complaint a lot but yes, it is indeed everywhere. Forums, discord and technically we do get a warning when we log into the game.

It would be grand if Veteran’s and Zealots could stop using Boltgun until it is nerfed, it greatly impacts the fun of everyone else. I mean…

No, I’m not gonna stop using the only staff I have that can babysit a team so that I can, actually, complete Heresy and Damnation missions because Vets & Zealots are braindead. Sorry. Deal with it.

It’s not about impacting the fun of everyone else, it’s about causing physical impairment to players, both psyker players and non-psyker players.

If it was just a case of the staff being perceived as OP, I’d totally be on board with psykers being like “No, actually I won’t stop using it”

But when the weapon is causing physical pain and illness to other players, and we’re at the mercy of whatever the fastest a patch can be pushed out is, having some consideration for other people as people is what folks are asking for.

Do you know how many times I played that mission since? ONCE. I saw it TWICE on the mission board. Please pass on Fatshark game designers a question: what the h…were you thinking when they removed players ability to select a mission they would like to play, at what difficulty and with what modifiers such as deeds.

@inquisitorvawn give them a break, they obviously had a lot of issues to fix with the patch, and the moment they get them resolved, the community is asking for another fix.

They need a moment’s respite bc they still have a lot to fix.

Here is my consideration.
You get a warning in the beginning of the game.

I will continue to use one out of two staffs that is useful on high difficulty. Don’t like it, don’t play. Simple as that, but to tell Psykers, hey you can’t use that stuff and thus effectively tell them you can’t really play, because MUH condition. No. Then it falls to you to not play.

This is one of the worst takes I’ve ever seen.

I have no “conditions” and the staff causes physical strain for my eyes. It’s bad and needs to be addressed.

Who’s saying it shouldn’t be changed? No one.

The man is literally telling Psykers they can’t play their class, because the staff is a problem for him. This is the only reliable staff Psykers have on high difficulty that let’s them work in any capacity and we have to stop using it thus, not playing because it hurts his eyes? I’m sorry, no. You don’t get to tell others that because of your condition, everyone else must stop playing. YOU can stop playing for the time being if it is such a problem as you are warned at the beginning.

Patch rolled out a few days ago and had problems that took another day to fix. To ask them to fix something on the weekend after rushing to get the patch out and working is unreasonable.

It’s not unreasonable to ask them to address what amounts to a safety issue for a lot of people. Especially considering they changed something that was working just fine and no one was complaining about.

Companies have faced legal and financial consequences for far less. How it’s affecting players aside, they should probably address the issue for their own safety.

People are litigious. Look at the folks talking about “collecting evidence” on the forums already.

No one is forced to play the game in the meantime. They seem to have taken the photosensitivity effects seriously and will probably get a fix out ASAP.
