This is why I’m lauding these at every opportunity, this is my feedback. These Krieg outfits should be fixed, a backpack rucksack miscellaneous item added and a Krieg weapon skin for the lasgun and combat axe. Along with one for the Lucius pattern lasgun because HOW DID YOU MISS THIS. Bundle the shovels with the skins where it should be.
Then you can say ‘here’s stuff that costs more’ and get away with it because there would actually be effort and a bundle of stuff. Like I said how would a new player react to seeing the Steel Legion set come back? It has 6 items and no premium-er price tag. Their own relative scale of value suggests the Krieg cosmetics are worth less. The low effort is a seperate topic.

If they communicated it like in Dota 2, things would have been perceived differently.
In Dota 2 you also get baseline skins that cost a few dollars and really expensive ones that are valued at just above 30. But it was communicated from the start and the formula was kept throughout. There was no experimentation with the pricing.
The expensive skins over there usually come with new voice work, ability icons, animation sets and in some cases they are completely new characters.
In Darktide’s instance, these new premium cosmetics are not much different from others.
And the coats here aren’t properly animation rigged, hence them being stiff, too. Not a good look.

why do you think they have so many “avenues of communication” when then have their own official forums? It might not have been the intended reason but the effect it causes is that the voice of the players is now divided up and easier to dismiss. Now with it also being on xbox you can add the xbox forums to the list too. I’ve been trying to convince the people I play with to post in the official forums and the voice their disdain in the announcement thread talking about this issue.

i agree, these costumes don’t have any specials not specials sound, not effects and only have 3 items but price is too much , FT should give players who pre order games some aquilas and let them buy 1-2 skin.
Play first and play right now not differents in this games.
Max lv still 30 and gear still 520-530, i feel FT looking me like idiot.

Yes, I repeat, this could result in a separate thread on the forum, where it is worth discussing the increase in prices and the quality of the items that are offered to us for these prices.

I was considering getting the krieg skins, to support Fatshark, but seeing the xbox scam being pulled off, was a last straw for me.
I own VT, VT2 dlc’s except (necro, salts new class) but I am not going to give single euro to fatshark after this. I preordered Darktide expecting that you had learned from the mistakes that were made. (Also had it on xbox, back in the day)
Have about 1000hrs in vt2 and darktide about 600-700hrs. I will be uninstalling and giving the game a negative review for this.
Why can you not act in the best interests of your consumers and loyal fans. Spitting in the face of the community, and veterans who have supported the growth of the company from the start.
I liked to think that Fatshark would do thing differently, but clearly greed instead of the vision of the unique and interesting games that you used to make, have replaces the soul of the gaming company.
You really had something Fatshark, but nothing was learned from the mistakes. Where is the box art armor for Ogryn? Clearly it was not released BECAUSE it incentizes us to buy the shitty virtual currency, to get ”cool” armors. Why are you shooting yourself in the foot with the approach you took.
I was still hopefull after the apology letter you posted and believed that you had learned your lesson. I really liked Darktide, but I have developed so much antipathy towards the monetization practizes that you have implimented, that I will change all my reviews on all your games to negative and make sure to warn everyone of my friends against ever purchacing anything from your company ever again.
Can you just please, please make changes to the way you treat your customers, and get rid of the predatory practices and actually provide us with the content that we expected. You can do excellent work, class rework was fantastic, but the executive decisions that you make regarding FOMO and the virtual currency are absolutely attrocious and should be removed and the person responsible for that fired.
Can you at least give us some concrete plans to address this. I for one will be keeping a close eye on how this unfolds. PLEASE bring back the Vt2 currency shop and let us earn aquilas. We have betatested your game for a year. But enough is enough.

This is a strawman. I know that this means nothing in the internet but just saying that I have in-depth knowledge regarding scientific methodology and metatheories. As I am a researcher IRL.
This is not an argument, there is nothing that implies that they still agree with the direction that you have taken. I could make the opposite argument, that most do not like predatory practices or being scammed. Just look at the steam reviews. There is nothing to support that kind of argumentation. Its just an assumption.
Most people who are in the forums are the veterans who actually care about the longevity of the game and dedicate their time to provide you feedback. So please have some respect to your community. The ”silent majority” are mostly casuals who play a game here there without visiting or commenting in the forums.

I was also thinking about supporting the game via an in-game purchase because they started to earn my gratitude with the Skill Tree Rework, which I really liked. But as soon as there was a silver lining, they pulled the rug out from under my feet with this.

not sure if “researcher” man talks to me or FS devs, but recent steam reviews are still mostly positive, so i assume they easily could take this for “right course” and remain things like they are.
There still no moves, no solid answers and no actual response, unless this one manager at first day, i also heard someone told that they wait till discount ends, but not sure if they actually do something with that at all. Most people here want their aquilas, yes? They could provide it like in a day or such, just give everyone amount of currency, but they didn`t. Cuz we cash cows and gotta pay more money for raw and ugly, but so liked by casuals skins like famous krieg, or catachan.

Yeah, this is probably true. Those of us who write on the forums are never representative of the community as a whole. The vast majority does not partake here, nor on Reddit, nor on Facebook, nor the site formerly known as Twitter, etc. FS have the metrics to see what’s really going down. We don’t… and in this particular case I can’t be arsed to care.
I still have all of my Aquillas from the Imperial edition at launch. I wanted to support FS since I have been playing so much V2, but I don’t want to support this cash shop so I’m not buying anything no matter how many Aquillas they pour over me.
For me to care about the cash shop they’d have to get rid of the FOMO nonsense and just implement what they already had in V2 - a shop where you could see what was available and buy what you wanted for cash without the need for an intermediate currency. Such a novel concept.
For me to come back to the game, other than the occasional match now and then, they’d have to fix crafting, but there are plenty of threads on that already.

i like how deep rock studio sell support pack and they let players play that game the way they want.
i never tell fatshark is good but in vt1 and vt2 they doing right way that why people still play there game even community vt1 and 2 only have 2-3k players, but in this game i only see fatshark the company want milk money people with all each way and dont care about what there say, i only pay 5 buck for character, costumes vt2, in darktide i need 15 even 20 buck and this is just begin in future i very sure they will sell dlc map, dlc character, dlc new weapon.
FatShark you create this forums and why you even dont go here and listen people talking about you., i see many people use b helmet in this game right now but they even dont want buy costumes, i have 2 friends 1 of them dont want comeback this game anymore but he play vt2 600-700h and other guy he only join because me if i dont play he will dont play, all of us buy this game when release day 1 and i buy this game when still pre oder.
