See Fatshark’s reply above or in the body (UPD3) of the topic. I will note in this post everyone who has been active and interested in this thread to notify you. I can’t attach more than 10 people to one post, so there will be multiple posts.
Not true. The blue Backpack hasn’t been here before. The borders are unique.
And even if it’s a recolors, some of these armors aren’t or weren’t previously available in blue. They even match one other helmet we got for an event.
They also are being created newly. I got the “preview all cosmetics” mod, this stuff is not in the game files atm.
Several of those are simple recolors of existing NPC armors or other items already in the game since release.
Can you, for one singular second, not make apologies for a company that treats you like a walking piggy bank to be squeezed until you squeel “YES DADDY F ME HARDER” or is it simply ingrained into your very being at this point?
I’ve got mixed feelings on this whole shabang. I like idea of exclusive skins for those who supported FS from the beginning, even when they were… not so keen on listening to our concerns. On the other hand… Why, oh God-Emperor, why they couldn’t give us one, fully sealed helmet (One that actually have a hose or filters!)?
Your immature vulgarity does not prove your point, only detracts from it.
@Mayson In addition, the ogryn chest piece is quite like the one people have been clamoring for for a while now. The Psyker has flak pauldrons which I don’t think any psyker chestpiece has yet. Overall, they’re supposed to evoke the white-stripe crew Rannick first sent in in the teaser (now nailed to the wall in Hab Dreyko) and it seems like they do.
I know, I know… I would really like a system, where we, old surviving Vets (not the class, just Experienced Bug Wranglers from the start of the campaign) could recognize each other and joke about FNGs…
I assume he thinks that as long as he keeps defending and making excuses for every single Fatshark misstep they might listen to any of his effort posts.
He fails to understand that Fatshark not just refuses but downright ignores constructive community feedback. Do I have to remind people of the interview one of their design leads gave, basically boiling down to “yeah feedback is nice and all but we actually know better than the community”?
FS have consistently proven that this is how they operate. The only time they change their tune is when the bottom line aka sales and reputation are affected. I’m being tough to him because he’s simply too naive.
If you mean the current Psyker suit for sale that appears to include limb strengthening equipment on the legs and arms as well as a black cloth chestpiece, that is a recolor of a previous set that was white and featured a “bowl” helmet.
The same goes for the current Ogryn and Veteran for sale. Recolors.
The only one that isn’t a recolor is the Zealot set, which is a resale of a previous rotation’s set.
Here I won’t follow you…
A recolor, considering all colors, textures and pattern are here, it is like 10 minutes of work, including the time to choose the said color.
Enough… a recolor is not an interesting item.
Backpack is unique sure, insignia also. But recolors are not welcomed.
We aren’t talking about the premium shop. We’re talking about the new free PC cosmetics, the Vanguard Bundle that can be found in the announcements section.
It would be ideal if Fatshark simply allowed us to dye our cosmetic items like you can in many other games such as Guild Wars 2, New World, FFXIV, and so on, without reselling recolors for the same amount.
Alternatively, because the recolors are recolors of already existing items, they could offer them for half the price.
Especially when they’re just recolors (and there are a lot of them in the game files) with no new helmet.
