(ANSWERED) 14 000 aquilas to new XBOX Store players, are you serious?

Do you mean the camo reskin of the older Steel Legion set with the yellow top?

How angry will you be if I tell you that I bought both the top and bottom of the new set because I prefer it to the old Steel Legion, which I also own?

I completely agree that they should not rotate in recolors of other sets. Unfortunately, there are many recolors in the game files that will be rotated rather than allowing us to recolor the sets ourselves with a dye system or/and pick a texture.

Coming from Guild Wars 2 I agree that Fatshark’s mTX store is scummy, it absolutely is!

On top of that, there is abysmal QA on clipping and rigging to “body types”: there is almost no female fitting armor because it is rigged to male bodies and is often too big even for males.

This is why I’m mad I paid all of my aquilas I got from my pre order on that crap looking helmet just for them to make a better looking one with a tube and all months later

There are even better, such as this one:

Which is the one I photoshopped onto my avatar’s (my IRL) face.

Prepare to spend money! :moneybag:

a sub-group almost never aligns fully with the whole group… why does that matter tho?
its only important if our views were opposing, wich i highly doubt they are,

in regards to crafting:
most people going to be indifferent about it (that’s a recurring theme in larger groups)
a good portion would probably like to see changes made quite similar to the suggestion here.
and small portion is going to have very strong feelings about FS direction

important bit, is that near no one, is cheering for more RNG layers or is in love with the system

“you can’t please everyone” doesn’t fit here cuz you won’t offend anyone by improving the system.

loyal also can mean someone who stuck around for a while, or someone who cares, not necessarily that im in full support mode of everything fatshark does.

well fatshark just doesn’t care about the consumers time to move on

Not until we get that 14k aquilas.

It was a promotion to get xbox players to buy in since mixed reviews and bc Gamepass was dead. Folks are already playing on PC, already buying stuff on PC. This is a non-issue being blown up by an honestly whiny PC player base who wants in on the free cosmetics.

Well the point is that it is very difficult to tell if your views are opposing when all we have are the echo chambers of the forums. People who are happy don’t tend to write long threads (there are exceptions of course).

I’m not cheering, and I get the impression you’re not either. I don’t know about the silent majority though.

Don’t get me wrong. Voicing concerns is always a good thing, as long as we don’t try to make a point by pretending to speak for anyone but ourselves. We simply don’t. I also believe that the devs are more inclined to listen if we don’t resort to hyperbole, which I sometimes do when I say that the crafting system is trash, but I really think it is.

I’ll put them with the 2700 I got from the imperial edition.

I agree. This is just a promotion to get new players in, like a sale. I have no problem with it.

I have.
How many other paid games make such “promotions”? Besides CoD with their battle-pass? It is a “non-issue” when free games do so, like War Thunder or Dota. But Darktide cost a way more it can give, but we still paid for it, supported devs and get nothing, unlike newbies who did nothing, paid less and get better game.

And still there people who say devs don’t owe us nothing, cuz we decided to pay? You DO know what we paid for? For empty promises they fed us, and then made a rollback, like multiple time. We paid for complete game, and get rough piece of code in early access, which is not mentioned on steam.
They owe us at least proper game we paid for, but instead they make a “promotions” for those who bought a slightly better version of the game. And now patching it for them.
So they owe us, many things, and those aquilas - the least they do.

Well yes, but you should never buy a game at launch for this very reason but wait until the reviews are out. I did not do that myself this time but bought into the beta.

I don’t think the argument that this game is paid for and not free is relevant. All games have a cost of entry, even the free ones. Things go on sale all the time. Extra perks are given to new customers all the time. But yes, if you consider this to be a breaking factor for you then you can always vote with your feet so to speak.

But it’s tough. I’m by no means saying “if you don’t like it then just leave”… that’s just an exceptionally shitty thing to say when people, like yourself, are having grievances with the game so don’t take “voting with your feet” as me telling you to bugger off. I would never do that. I’ve just found that I have been doing that more lately.

My grievance with the game, and the reason I play very little these days even though I think the gameplay is still stellar, is because the crafting is still really bad and min-maxing my gear is just not fun… which I would like to do to experiment with what works for me at higher difficulties.

We’re a group of four people playing weekly at a set date and on off nights if we feel like it.

  • If all four of us are playing we play Baldur’s Gate 3
  • If it’s just me and one of these friends we play Diablo IV
  • If it’s three of us we play Darktide and swear about crafting and mission selection.
  • If I’m alone I play Factorio, Trackmania with the kids, and weird indy single-player experiences. I never play Darktide alone the way I did with Vermintide 2.

It’s an issue for me. I’ve bought “closed beta”, I’ve bought Imperial Edition (for the soundtrack) and I’ve also purchased 2500 Aquillas on top of all that hoping this:

would be available someday…

What I’ve got for my devotion within this 11 months?

  1. 4 different reskins of the same gaking helmet with fething baklava (wait, that’s a dessert) balaclava (which I hate),
  2. Choice of Gasmasks without a hose,
  3. “Sealed” helmets with filters that do not fully cover operative face…
  4. Clipping issues
  5. And increased pricing for the same cosmetics but recolored or bugs removed…

Why every cosmetic looks like “your favorite IG regiment” bootleg?!

Don’t worry, i buggered off since october 10th, and seems we won’t get compensation or at least answers from devs, so i’m not eager to come back. My bad that i took that risk and belive game will improve, i’m still regret i bought it, but past is past so i agree with pino here, time to move on.

Well, I wont be buying anything related to fatshark anymore. This solution was easy so I am assuming mass incompetence and greed is what is at the head of this sad sh*t company.

Good luck getting the xbox players to beta test your crap. It worked wonders for redfall.
