An info dump on my latest wave of instability crashes

Issue Type (Required):

Crash - During Play

Issue Description (Required):

I hate to be a bother but I am wondering if anyone could share some light for me regarding these frequent crashes.

First off, hardware information - Ryzen 7 9800X3D, Nvidia RTX 4090 24GB, 64GB DDR5 6200MHz RAM, ROG Crosshair X870E Hero, Samsung 990 Pro M.2 NVMe 1TB for OS. Windows 11 Pro 24H2 26200.5581

Lately, and I do believe it has coincided with the Nvidia driver update released on 30/04/2025, a wave of crashes have begun to occur again. They only happen during game play which solely consists of Auric Maelstrom and Havoc. They can happen repeatedly being only minutes apart from relaunching the game and rejoining a mission in progress.

My Windows 11 is fully up to date and I check regularly. My BIOS version is the latest as of 06/05/2025 ver.1401. My CPU drivers and My RAM drivers follow suit with up to date also. As for my GPU, as stated above, I have the latest drivers also, ver. 576.28.

I have done a clean reinstall of these drivers also to ensure it wasn’t due to a faulty installation. I’ve reinstalled the game in full to ensure there were no corruption issues and held off installing mods.

I do not use Overwolf and ensure, besides Xbox Game Bar, no other overlay software is present on my system.

I have tried most if not all of Fatsharks recommendations to fixing various faults to not avail. I have the graphics set to medium and have all the extra settings like Ray Tracing and DLSS turned off. I have experimented with adjusting the worker threads but only assisted minimally with stability.

I have attached my most recent log files so they hopefully help with the investigation.

Before we start exploring any GPU-related solutions, I do see a clue pointing to an issue with your Visual C++ Redistributables. Please:

  1. Uninstall the Visual C++ 2019 Redistributables
  2. Reinstall the Visual C++ 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022 Redistributables: Latest supported Visual C++ Redistributable downloads | Microsoft Learn
  • You may be prompted with an option to repair, as opposed to install. In which case, you may proceed with the option to repair
