Issue Type (Required):
Crash - During Play
Issue Description (Required):
Hi,
I am experiencing regular, as in in ~10min intervals, game crashes. I just had a 33 minutes run and I experienced 3 game crashes in that time. It’s driving me nuts. This has been happening for a while, but I’ve finally reached the tipping point in my frustration.
I’ve tried updating all drivers, updating BIOS, underclocking, rolling back to to older drivers and BIOS. I’ve been a wide variety of game graphics settings but I can’t find any fix for this people.
My PC was bought specifically because I wanted to play Darktide. My specs are
i7-12700k
Zotac RTX4090 Aero Extreme
32GB DDR5
I should have zero issues running the game at any settings and the game runs smoothly with litereally everything maxed at 1440p.
I’ve uploaded the 3 most recent crash dumps from that 33 min run. I hope I can get some help fixing this. Thanks.
I’m ready to provide anything that could be required.

Something is not quite right with the driver, which I can see from this line here:
:\dvs\p4\build\sw\rel\gpu_drv\r545\r545_00\drivers\wgf2um\_out\wddm2_amd64_release\nvwgf2umx.pdb}
Try cleanly reinstalling your drivers, as opposed to updating them. Though, perhaps this was done as part of rolling back to an older version?

That’s odd. I have an NVIDIA card, not AMD. I will try a completely clean install anyway and report back.
If u use dlss frame generation, try to disable it

DLSS is activated but I don’t see anything labeled frame generation in the settings

I did a clean install of the GPU drivers as suggested, but no luck. I don’t know if it’s still the mysterious “AMD” drivers (?) or what it is. I just did another run in Archivum and it produced 6 crashes during the run and another one in the menu when the run ended. I’ve included the crash dumps. I would include all 7 but I can only include 5 it seems.

It seems I’ve tried any “solution” anyone has ever thought of, or sketched on a pizza box, so it seems there is only a format c: and reinstall left.
That’s my bad, I linked you the wrong article!
Could you include your latest console logs (as opposed to crash dumps) please?

I can see the crash data is referencing the Visual C++ Redistributables now. Try this:
Uninstall the Visual C++ 2019 Redistributables
Reinstall the Visual C++ 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2022 Redistributables: Latest supported Visual C++ Redistributable downloads | Microsoft Learn
You may be prompted with an option to repair, as opposed to install. In which case, you may proceed with the option to repair
