I’ve noticed every time I’m partied with hem they have an offense score of 50 and the bot would have been better.
idk man the power creep is so bad i welcome less skilled players as long as they dont leave mid game
pugging a H40 and 3 of them on console isnt fun… i cant imagine the skill level you’d need to some how carry 3 40-50 offense score players through a havoc 40 but its not me.
okay, I do agree on the havoc front but generally party finder is unusable maybe do some vetting beforehand with true level?
Dealing with bad teammates is an inherent and fundamental part of the game and narrative experience. You fight for an organization that literally tells you to forsake logic and understanding because blind faith alone is your greatest weapon, and some proportion of your strike team is going fight as such.
Idk man, a lot of the time when the run truely goes south its pc players mixed in there as well.
I run into a few who were an exception from the rule. Auric with console players can be rough. Between terrible controls, and hardware, high havoc isnt a game mode for them.
You know that hunch you get when you see a lvl 28 console player with 4 wounds in an Auric lobby.
A chance to get closer to my 1000 revives penance.
I’d love the ability to opt out of cross play, just like they mostly can.
Damn as a console player who only plays High havoc that makes me feel bad for even playing. Sorry Man. Tho I do play a lot so am better than most at least. Friends on PC show me scoreboards sometimes i do occasionally score higher than them it depends on the builds everyone plays.
So many runs lately that made me wish I was still grinding that penance or wondering where all these players were when I was.
That’s just the downs. Level 5 is 1k.
The rescues is 500 and means freeing them from the respawn totems.
Scoreboard “score” doesn’t necessarily mean all that much.
Yeah. It was a more of a pain when I was chasing it since full deaths were rarer due to leaving shenanigans and a smaller, better player base on Aurics combined with having to win the footrace there.
Honesty in scoreboard. People focus on total damage too much.
In Quickplay what impresses me is when one person takes out like 70-80% melee/ranged elites because they focused on priority targets, whilst minimising “damage taken”. Even if their total damage output was lower, removing those obstacles most benefit to team.
You can just… Not accept them if it bothers You so much
Sure but there are good console players too is all I meant. Just takes more skill than the average joe since it’s a lot harder to aim on controller compared to the easiness of PC.
thing is the pool of “good” console players seems so low that in 1200+ matches i cant recall ONE with controller movement clutching or carrying
do some keep up well enough, sure.
but its no fluke when you sigh seeing 3x console tags in the hangar loader.
usually situation goes down like this:
dudes either struggle getting a good pace
keep occupied with every poxer coming into view
by the time you’re at the next door/elevator you see a swarmed silhouette going down faaaar behind and finally disconnect
exception: gloriana, where they yeet off the map in the first 10 meters instead of taking the inner corridors.
consoles may be ok for beat em ups/survival horror games/sports stuff
but deliberately playing <40fps with an inferior input device where twitch reflexes are essential are not somehow my problem as a team member
i bought a rig especially for darktide, got custom mouse feet that match the material of my mousepad and a sensitivity thats “natural” to me for 30 years.
if i see dudes laying half way on a couch playing on a tv i dont need to turn around with a “question” columbo style
plus take into account the core demographic of consoles given their “accessible pricing” the chances of finding a prodigy is pretty low.
