Yup, and Iâm saying this as someone who invested a lot of time into writing mods and put in an effort not to cross any lines. Iâd happily consider all that time âwastedâ if it meant a fairer and more balanced game for everyone.

@FatsharkQuickpaw so is a Dev ever going to actually chime into one of these threads to clarify whether or not mods like this cross a line or are we doomed to argue in circles about this forever.
Are there any thoughts or concerns to be shared by Fatshark at all about the boundaries of âacceptable modâ being pushed further and further to their limits?
Your policy made this bed for us, Fatshark. Are you content for us to rot in it forever or are you ever going to do some actual work to improve the situation?

This is just excessive.
I already thought healthbars was tacky but never wanted to say nothing because info in this game is ridiculously secretive and mods like it make information gathering easier; its use in public quick play and streams is tacky but whatever youâre free to ruin your own game.
You canât justify this, man. I donât want to lose the quality of life mods I use because of blatant cheats 
if FS ever decides to nuke modding.

But since this mod is accessible to absolutely everyone who thinks they could use something like that, I can ignore it if I think it clutters or blurs my screen. The actual game manages to do that juuuuust fine 
Iâd ask Fatshark to make each enemy stand out more on their own instead of being a mass of black and black over black and Iâd even remove the current in-game marked enemy outline myself. Maybe even a working flashlight? Maybe that would be the real cheat.
You should have successfully convinced Fatshark not to release the game on consoles before making this argument, because otherwise it makes literally zero sense

Such problems can and should be solved by Sharks. By simply integrating most of the mods into the game, the numeric interface, the ping monitor (oh my God) and the like, which are really useful and will not force the average player to go to the nexus in search of fixing their game and bringing it to at least a normal level.
This is just a masterpiece mod, for me itâs spider sense 2.0, I havenât used it, but Iâve seen and know how it works and how both are cheats for me. You have to focus on the sounds (yes, they are broken, but they are there) + visually monitor what is happening or receive voice information from teammates, and not to see absolutely everything thanks to the cheat.

I honestly wouldnât have a problem with these kind of mods if there was some indicator that shows ppl are using it, at least let other ppl quit if they donât want to play with the aforementioned mod users.

We all have a line and itâs subjective to when itâs crossed and the positives no longer outweigh the negatives. To me, this where I draw that line.

nah man, if I had to play without the uncensor or ui mod Iâd quit instantly.
one out of principle, guess where I got my nickname from
the other for I cant stand that ugly, bloated âmade for tvâ abomination of an ui.
let me enjoy whacking corpses on the tiniest ui the game can set up as base game options and I even give up my scoreboard
(gonna rewind the replay and count the kills by hand if necessary 
)

Yeah, personally I canât stand playing without Custom HUD and Crosshair HUD as well as the buff bar mod. But Iâm saying, this wallhack mod is crossing a line into territory where mods shouldnât go.

it sure does, though given the forced option of having to play vanilla and with forced censorship
(that was added 2 years after release for console money, so
a) I got stuff taken from me and
b) crossplay âbaggageâ added to matches I didnât ask for )
I would have stopped playing the very same day.
so yes âcheater an die wandâ but one needs certain stuff sadly to get back what was taken out of the product i paid for (and wouldnt have done so if not 100% sure it was uncut)
which in itself is an insult to paying customers.
never in my life did I ever play or watch censored media and always for almost 35 years now got the âoriginalâ
even wolfenstein was easy with vpn, so after 2 years of release coming round the corner

heck I spend 5 minutes in dead island 2 stomping them corpses into mush and had to make an austrian account just for it.
why? cause I love gore and pay my taxes

I think there are cases where mods will be in the grey area.
Weapon customisation is in it, as you can give better sights than what the weapons are supposed to have.
The various clutter disabled could also be put there.
The spideysense also deserves to be there.
But this canât be put in thst grey area, this is too far.

But that mod does not alter other players. If you do not like to play with people who wants to modify their gameplay (to make it harder, or easier, or just more realistic), then play only solo or with the premade group. Do not destroy fun for other people just because you âdo not like itââŚ
