A list of mods that should be part of the base game

Note that I have been using mods forever, if any of these mods already a part of the base game please tell me.

  1. Solo Play: There are many people who would like to play solo, the mod exists, but it should be a part of the base game.
  2. Full Auto and Keep Swinging: Both of these mods improve the game greatly for people with carpal tunnel or other issues (or simply people who hate spamming clicks) to play the game.
  3. Chat Block: This mod forces you to block if you have a melee weapon out and open the chat, it was added to Vermintide years ago, should’ve been part of base Darktide.
  4. Ammo and Medical Markers: This mod improves the markers of health packs and ammo packs, additionally, it gives the big ammo pickups a distinct icon, which is nice.
  5. Alternate Grenade Icons: This mod allows you to tell the grenade type of teammates, and if they can actually use grenade pick ups or not.
  6. Stimms Pickup Icon: Colors the stimms icons, a white stimm on the UI tells you nothing other than the fact that your ally has a stimm.
  7. Crosshair Remap (Continued): This one would be nice to have, you can never know how much a simple change of crosshair could improve a weapon’s feel.
  8. Weapon FOV: Allows to change the FOV of the first person view model for each weapon, can drastically improve game feel.
  9. Creature Spawner: A must have if you want to test anything on hordes of enemies, or a group of tough enemies.
  10. Talent Tree UX Improvements: Improves the talent tree interactions, becomes useless when there is only one viable build and there is no need to change things around, but still a good mod.

the modders community usually do a good job on displaying (outdated) on the rare occasion their mods gets incorporated

1.Unga bunga for heavy weapons swinging.

2. Hub hotkey, no longer need to run across hub zone.

3.Numeric UI shows amount of ammo which will be picked. It can do other stuff, but that’s what i use.

4. Talent swap mod, swaps talents by double cliking, without need to remake whole build completely.

5. Inspect from party finder and social. To see weapons and builds of teammates either for selection process or simply because curiousity. True lvl also here.

6. Clear smoke, makes smoke grenades somewhat viable for players who got that mode, shows their radius removes visual effect.

7. Don’t remember name, but mod that shows timer for warp unbound.

8. Scoreboard, to see how well you and teammates played.

Custom HUD as well - Allows the user to move various HUD elements, with optional grid and snapping.

Show Crit Chance. IIRC you can’t even see the base chance for the weapon in the game unless it has crit stat lmao.

Yes

Problem is that if theres a Mod for it or you could Mod it in FS won’t ever add it into the base Game. Because unpaid people already made a Mod for it so people who want that feature can just download it.

Those are the people who complain Game is to easy and then they do this type of stuff xd

how is it even enjoyable to play the game like that? might as well just look at some excel spreadsheet

I’d add “true level” and “Warp Unbound Timer” and “Danger zone”, the latter two being essentials for the visually impaired especially.

Eh, FS can always implement it better than we can, they have access to more information and endpoints than the modders do, so can be far more efficient with their application.

Modders have the flexibility to offer more options though, as FS needs to limit the variability just so as not to clutter up the UI unnecessarily, and cater to the largest volume of players.

What the Localization - to fill the gaps for desciptions

True Level - Consoles will love this

Uptime - know when your talent choices are actually working

For the Emperor - come on why is Yes/No missing from the in game chat radial and needed to be modded in???

is there a mod that turns a players name pink if they have true level or scoreboard mod installed, id like that

I just looked at Nexus Schmexus and apparently there now even is a Mod which shows you how many Matches someone has played in total and how many of that they won/lost.

They really need to implement an Official / Modded Realm like in Verminslope or add some Mods into the base Game and ban all others Mod after it. Getting really ridicilous. I know it is nice for some personal use like TrueLevel which i do enjoy myself but i have been playing the Game since almost a thousand Hours and all i can see here on the Forum, on Steam and in the Game is just exclusively that it impacts the Game/Community negatively.

I play so many MP Games and all of them have a Scoreboard by default, the whole discussion of it creating toxicity doesn’t even exist there and no one even has that in mind and yet here it does precisely that. Maybe it is just because of that. But never before in any other MP Game from MP may it be PvE like Warframe or RTS like WC3/DoW or PvP/TeamvsTeam/BattleRoyale….not once read a single person even make that accusation that it creates toxicity…not even in Browsergames which have one….yet here you get constantly people just chasing after hur dur big DMG Number on SB everyone else sucks
