yeah i mentioned this a few times that it’s weird how we can’t simply empower curios just like weapons, and still have to camp the shop for something that basic.
It’s the only reason I check shop unless I’m looking to build out a new weapon and want to see if the roll I want is already in shop instead of buying a bunch of whites.
Separating the missions from the Operation could increase the queue for both as they’d have different queues now.
And could cause 1 of the mode to be disused due to not being the “normal” mode.
Imo Operations should just become normal operations, I still don’t know what make the new one an operation since its roughly the same length as a normal mission.
Rolling Steel could be reworked into a 2 phase mission (New phase: Deactivate the Saber AA guns, or redirect the train, then short cutscene and we have the usual RS)
I was hoping to see more Solo Mode Support in a Wishlist thread, but I’m just glad to see any support for Solo Mode <3
What’s sad is, at this point I’ve lost so much goodwill towards Fatshark idk if them adding Solo Mode would even get me to play again. It probably would, because I have been itching for a Tide-experience which I scratched with a few VT2 matches (didn’t last long cause I was on Steam Deck while watching TV with the missus, so no audio lol). Maybe the new patch will stealth drop solo mode and Christmas will come early?
Something nice but overall pretty minor would be a rework to the UI around buffs/debuffs. It’s not useless in its current state but it’s not very useful. Having like 20+ little icons on the bottom of the screen (some of which may be coming from other classes) is just not possible to process in combat and you have to depend on external sources like Kuli’s guides to figure out if/how the different buffs stack and such. I’d even settle for some overlay/other UI element that only works in the Psykhanium.
Exactly this. How are people still asking for balance?? Seriously who give af about that?!! Literally all their time is spent adjusting balance, stop that bullshiit and give us some actual content already!
Well, since the Lead Director has said, in his recent interview lead by Jeficus, that they are currently “Knee-deep in DarkTide” while only “still working on Vermintide 2”, I hope they will deliver on not only your wishlist, but the wishlist of almost everyone in this thread.
Havoc reworked so that players can select their mission, mission rank and modifiers. Future Havoc patches should merely add new modifiers with rewards pertaining to the modifier itself
New maps - expand and progress the narrative, no question about it.
We need more variety down the line and an expansion of the story that takes place down at Atoma Prime. There is so much untold and personally I feel it is long overdue for the story to progress further. I stopped playing Darktide actively over half a year ago after having poured countless of hours into every class across every mission over what feels like thousands of times. More unique maps with unique stories is what would make me return to the game.
There is such a narrative potential in 40K and specifically with Atoma, and I oh so deeply wish Fatshark would incentivise way more on that!
