Discovered this on accident whilst charging directly at two gunners, but it turns out in the middle of the charge, you are immune to bullets. It won’t protect you against Trappers or Flamers, so it’s probably using the same underlying mechanic that Stripped Down does.
This solidifies its use as an active ability to close the distance on ranged enemies and put pressure on them to prevent them from shooting.
yeah and if you highlight an enemy it can propel you 21m instead of the usual 7. its dodge state. ogryn has no dodge state during his dash but he has 50% damage reduction on top of his double dipping active one. its also possible to attack enemies before the dash stops with more critical blows (but I think the attack into/out of stealth is more notable and consistent to pull off).
Yeah, youre also protected when charging at shooting snipers.
Nice trade off considering that shooters can also negate Fury of the Faithful entirely if you arent paying attention.
Weird that you only found out recently.
You dont have to highlight, just look at the enemy and dash.
It is also possible to dash to an enemy in the backline if the enemy frontline isnt so heavily packed.
the tag isn’t even related to this at all, but you need to have an enemy pointed out by the skill to move farther which was exceedingly obvious to those who bother to read.
they could swap the word ‘melee hit’ to ‘hit’, but it also could use that weird fake rending thing it has where flak is unarmored and carapace is flak identified. you don’t even have a UI display for when this effect is up, considering it lasts for at least a couple seconds from what I can tell.
Call me weird but Im the type of guy to find out every bit of information needed before trying something out. Also helps me find info that I thought I didnt need/wouldnt know.
