I’m not really arguing for massive nerfs. But a cleave nerf and a damage and armor pen nerf makes some sense. Since ogryn are all unyielding or carapace you could simply reduce the base modifier to those to give space for plasma pistols and bolt pistols. By way of example.

Probably the way to go. Keeping the revolver as a quick draw option to delete specials with a well-placed headshot should stay. 2-3 shooting Crushers is a bit ridiculous.

Keep in mind i think the revolver is tremendous fun and i am reticent to suggest nerfs.

Currently, the revolver is an incredibly strong weapon. It either one-shots or almost one-shots any enemy short of Crushers, Mauler (Mutants, Dogs). The only thing it currently lacks is boss damage.

With the proposed buffs coming next patch, I’m pretty sure it will be one of the (if not the actual) best weapons to run on a hybrid build. With the increased damage and finesse it will be able to one-tap all gunners at basically any range, and it will be better against Crushers even with the health boost.

○ 250, 450 to 300, 540.

● Finesse Modifier:

○ 100% to 150%.

● Armour Modifiers (near, far):

○ Carapace: 50%, 30% to 60%, 50%.

I think this is one of the weapons to look out for after the changes.
