Holy. This forum really has pulled in the toxic atmosphere. Definitely wasn’t like this 2 years ago for sure. It starts off “ok” then every thread turns into personal insults within few hours.
Guess I’ll just use this forum for highlighting any game update changes or anything about balance.

Yeah, I am calling complete BS. Number one - if you have friends being dropped into Darktide and they’re telling you its the “worst place ever” then they don’t even belong anywhere near video games to begin with.
1600 hours and I have encountered maybe THREE actually toxic people. I can GUARANTEE you have sub 50 hours on this game and you’re claiming it has a toxic community? LOL. The real toxicity stems from people like you spewing out your complete nonsense with absolutely no experience or logic, just emotion and anger.

Tell me you’ve never actually interacted with another gaming community, without telling me you’ve never interacted with another gaming community.
The Darktide community is easily one of the most chill out there. If you want to see real toxicity, visit forums for World of Warcraft, Destiny, League of Legends, Starcraft, old school Arena shooters, anything CoD related, etc ad nauseum.
Even next to other 4 person coop shooters, the only one I can think of with a more chill community is Deeprock Galactic, Helldivers players can be cool but they’re insanely more dramatic and toxic.
And that’s not even getting into tabletop 40k communities. Some of the stuff I’ve seen from people (especially mods) on Reddit are genuinely some of the worst examples of human behavior I’ve ever seen. We don’t have people here telling teenagers to kill themselves because their first painted mini wasn’t up to someone’s arbitrary standards.
