Hyperbole in the title aside, when is this actually getting fixed for real?
It’s still SO frustrating being punished by mechanics not working correctly. When I commit x action that can stagger or knockback against a poxburster, I expect the poxburster to get knocked back. When this fails to happen and you die because of it, it is the opposite of fun. This doesn’t happen every time of course, but it still happens just often enough to end missions and be aggravating.
On a side note not directly indicated in the title (if other commenters can help me out I’d appreciate it), why do poxbursters sometimes just instantly explode from full health from an attack like the inferno staff primary fire? Like, the primary fire will sometimes knock the poxburster back (as intended), sometimes it will do nothing (hence this bug report), and sometimes it will just instantly explode where it stands. Three different outcomes for the same action on the same enemy??? This does NOT seem right either.

Edit: You know, I should probably point out that the bugs involving knockback / stagger on poxbursters also often apply to Poxhounds too. It might be a fundamental issue with knockback and stagger mechanics as a whole. Not sure though.
Steps to Reproduce (Required):
- See a poxburster
- Shove or stagger poxburster
- Repeat on enough bursters, you will sometimes have one be immune
- ???
- Profit!
