when you create your character, you can choose to have a male or female character but for some reason its mislabeled has body type and then one you make your selection you can adjust the height and that’s it where is the body types? Ectomorph, Mesomorph and Endomorph? that would be great if it’s too much work because of cosmetics I understand.
can you change the character creator to Male or Female instead of body type because that is no different than forcing other people to play the floor is lava and it’s not funny.
Pffft. Only because of the media do people actually consider the build we have in Darktide “emaciated” unironically. We look like we’re in the early stages of bodybuilding. I’m all for having more options, but we look relatively great physically in Darktide and no mistake.
Unless they’re Special Forces, soldiers aren’t pampered enough to have the facilities and resources necessary to maintain bodies like that, even in the real world where the quality of life is vastly better than that of the grimdark future plaguing the Imperium.
the same way I expect the raiders in mad max 2 to be over the top despite running around in a vast desert, it’s the aestethics that makes 40k for me.
and visually pleasing in certain key areas trumps what’s the actual real life comparison.
true, early stage bodybuilding doesn’t look quite impressive but once one gets on the juice, testosterone, tren, dianabol, winstrol, sustanol, hgh and insulin, you literally explode even with suboptimal training methods
I can only imagine what hive scum concocts together to get
as i said in some other thread, they need to change all cosmetics to fit alternate body models if they make these, and i don’t see them doing this extra work, ever. except if maybe they sell the alternate models and the skins for them too. that’s why female characters look much the same. only one model, less possible errors.
