Out of curiosity, why put in the effort of making it Third-Person when there’s already the format to make it First-Person in Vermintide 2?
To give you more reason to buy aquilas & premium cosmetics
There’s less to look at than in VT 2? I don’t know for sure. There isn’t the art or the trophies, there’s no jump puzzles or character rooms to explore. Just vendors. The only thing I would want to do in first person is look out the windows by the mission board.
If that’s true it’s a flawed system I’d get even more premium skin envy if I can see how cool they look while wielding their weapon in the hub (something else that was in Vermintide 2)
That, and you can run around smacking things with your weapon like a doofus. It’d be fun.
If you think they’d ever let us run around the MS with weapons you got another thing coming lol. I assumed you meant first person without anything in your hands.
My only hope is for a first person lobbyy before you start a game in the hangar bay where you can change your character and coordinate team comp before loading into a mission.
That’d make it a bit more like DRG, and that’s not a bad idea at all. It’d be cool to just run around in First-Person generally and then go Third-Person for those emotes or something. It’d tie in well to that “Hub Idea: Pub” thread I made a while ago. I’d also love the extra communication and coordination that those lobbies would bring…
Except for when that one toxic knife Zealot joins, then says “I’m gonna carry you guys, admit it now” only to go down 6 times, whilst everyone else does fine.
