Why does this game have to rely on cheapness for a challenge?

Can we limit how often the director does the following? It doesn’t add difficulty whatsoever, just frustration.

  • Poxbursters and disablers spawning from a door that your back is to

  • Having snipers hide behind objects that is almost impossible for a tag or brain burst to lock on

  • Crushers making almost no noise

  • Aside from that auric modifier - Stop with the spamming of poxbursters

  • Barrels and Plaguegryn stomp needs its launch toned down

Valve were really the goats at this kinda stuff.

Know that med station on throneside on the left in the large room where one has to protect a skull to activate the elevator?
Yesterday, I was standing near that, to the left of it, in the corner, my back to the wall.
I took a step forward, less than a meter, and a Trapper spawned behind me, in that corner, clipping through by back, and netted me.
This is the second time something like this has happened to me, as well. The game apparently thinks it needs to spawn a special behind a player, and if that player is camping a wall, it will spawn the special on top of them or inside the wall. So, the door is not actually required.
A a few levels later I kind of had the opposite, though, with a trapper, it’s butt poking through a closed spawn door, constantly trying to run out of the level and not moving.
On Crushers, I actually had to think for a bit about what sounds they are supposed to make. And yeh, sometimes you hear a sort of stomping sound? I think? So if they aren’t meant to be as loud as a single dreg in a horde, then yeh, they need fixing. Edit: Missing word

They need to have a min range to spawn specials thru a door if a player is too close.

If the game wants to punish cheese camping, then spawn in tons of bombers, problem solved.
